🤍 I have so much to be thankful for this year…but most importantly, for my wonderful clients, and their pet’s, that have helped me grow my business into something I never thought it could be!

She is an Icelandic horse, which means she has a very dense, long coat made for cold weather. To help protect her from overheating, she gets a full body shave twice a year 🪒

✨CANINE WEIGHT LOSS TIPS!✨
Today we are celebrating our Buddy Lily🐾 for losing 4 pounds ‘n heading towards her goal weight! 💛
Below are the important tips to remember for canine weight management, some that miss Lily is a great example of. 🐾
•Diet and Exercise are the two important variables of weight loss
1. Vet check! Always make sure to be discussing your pet’s weight with your vet before deciding what to change about their lifestyle.
2. Diet- Royal Canine, Hills Science Diet, and Purina Pro-Plan all have great weight management foods (I.e. “Hills Science Diet ‘Perfect Weight’).
3. Exercise- just like humans, animals need daily activity for a healthy weight. Exercise for your dog may look like playing with toys, fetching balls, walks/hikes, running, or even swimming! Physical activity not only helps with physical health, but also the mental health of your dog. 💗

I get a lot of questions about why I decided on the business name, The Homebudy.
Well, it’s actually just a play-on word that came to me one day!
A Homebody is a person who likes to stay at home, and, a Buddy is a close friend.
A lot of the time, you will find me at home with my buddies…my buddies with paws, hooves, claws, wings, and fins 🐶🐱🐹🐷🐔🐴🐠
they are my happy place and I am their homebudy🐾

So thankful for 2023 being full of amazing animals, clients and friends! The Homebudy 🐾 continues to grow with animal care as well as growing my knowledge and clientele with horse training! 🐴 A HUGE thank you to those that have supported me and my business through animal sitting, horse training, taking lessons, and even just sharing their knowledge and wisdom of business and animal care. ❤️ I couldn’t make my dreams come true without all my incredible clients, friends, and family!! You all mean the world to me and I couldn’t do this without you… and your lovely animals🥰 Even though this year brought injuries temporarily stopping my work, some hardships, and difficult lessons learnt, I am beyond thankful that I made it through and continue to succeed! Hoping and praying this new year brings more opportunities, even more happy&satisfied clients, and of course more phenomenal animals to care for and train! 🐾🐴💗 Happy New Year everyone! 🍾🎉
