What a better way to cool off in this Florida heat than with a splash pad!! Thor and Loki are very unsure of it😅😅
These two goofballs are bff's! Thor, our 1yo cur mix is amazing with all the little dogs in our house as well as the bigger dogs at the parks and places we've gone. He loves his jolly ball and will run and play as long as you'll let him. He's also a swimmer! He's a big derpy baby but he's so smart and just wants love.
Loki, our 8mo terrier mix gets along with every dog he's met. He loves to play and run around and will give you all the kisses. He's a little nervous around new people, but we are working on getting him more socialized and he's made amazing progress! Highly food motivated, Loki picks up new routines and tricks really well. He's a big cuddle bug and will sleep in the bed with you.

Miss Cookie!! (AKA Cookie Bookie Boo)
This sweet 3yo staffy has had a tough life. She came to us as a stray from Playful Paws Animal Rescue a few months ago covered in ticks and scars all over her face. She was likely a bait dog. She was so nervous and wouldn't even go outside by herself. She has become the sweetest love just wants to run and snuggle. She tends to not get along with female dogs and has not been tested with cats, though we don't think she'll do well.
She is crate trained and actually LOVES to be in her crate as it is a safe place for her. We're still working on walking with a leash as she is still a bit nervous.
She would love a family with a fenced yard for her to play and run and she is very food motivated, so training should be easy :-)

Miss Valentina!! This beautiful baby needs a furever home! She is a sweet 2yo pitty mix. She is spayed and UTD on all her vaccines, and ready to go home! Valentina is a very sweet girl that always wants to give kisses and lay directly on your chest. She's a nervous girl around new people and dogs due to the lack of socialization (she will hide from you at first and get growly with dogs that are too much in her space), but she warms up. She's good with being left in her crate when you're away (she actually really likes her crate), and she does well (after warming up because she's shy) with dogs and cats. She would prefer a home with smaller dogs. She would be best in a home with older children due to her high energy nature. She knows her basic commands, and she is treat motivated. Valentina is currently loving life here at Buttscruffs and Blankets and needs Foster-to-Adopt, or Adopter A.S.A.P.!

What's in a name?
The inspiration for "Buttscruffs and Blankets" came from when we started adopting senior chihuahuas. They are all about buttscruffs and blankets :-)
