I am going to put this out there because I feel that the public needs to be educated. If you find a service dog in any situation do not touch that dog. You may stay with the dog or follow the dog, but never under any circumstance touch that dog. I always post cute pics of my service dog vocalizing, but this is a tool for her to either call upon me or call for help. When you come upon a service dog being vocal then you are to just follow the dog, because they are trained to lead you to a situation that could save their handlers life. Restraining the dog could destroy their training and their ability to do their job.. A service dog is loyal and will always seek their person.. And always ask before petting!!

Being a dog professional, I’ve seen many cases, where people say I don’t know what to do about my dogs incessant barking. I tell them what are you trying to do about their barking? They tell me often I tell them to stop and they don’t listen. There is the situation you are not using firm language, and you are not telling them what they need to hear.

I’ve spent my life in the four wall church. And I’ve heard many Christians say No is a bad word. But I have to give illustration here. You would not walk up to a cliff and say it’s a good idea to jump off the cliff. Even if you were not in your right mind, the term no would pop up and say it is not a good idea. However, I believe the word no it’s a good thing.

Why do I believe this? because you can save you a lot of misery and heartache. Because if you wouldn’t want to do anything dangerous, why would you want your dogs to do it?

Which makes my next point, if you firmly tell your dog to stop barking, they will do it, but if they do not stop barking, then you are not being firm enough. You control the dogs. The dogs do not control you. And you have to set that boundary if you do not then the dogs are going to take control . Simple as that. Be firm, use firm, commands, and use your voice to tell your dogs to stop. No, is a good word, and if you use it firmly enough, they will hear it. But if you do not, then hire a trainer and the trainer will be able to help you with this situation. ❤️❤️❤️

I cannot help but say this that the relocation of the grey wolf to Colorado is not only bad for the environment but it will kill off the grey wolf because when we live all our lives in one place and get forced to live in a new place it causes stress and anxiety, and it becomes a challenge of survival instead of an adapting to environment.. As a dog trainer I assure you they will not survive with harsh survival conditions as such in Colorado..
