Thick build, good bone, great feet! Zeus is an easy going gelding with lots of personality. Has the potential to be a wonderful trail partner, hubby horse, hunting horse supreme. He has a light start and has been backed. It will be simple to continue his training but he does require an experienced handler who has the time to spend with him due to his size and young age. Easy keeper, bathes, ties, good with spray bottles, respectful of fencing, good with other horses or alone. He is cow hocked.

Zeus displays the gentle disposition and strong conformation that Fjords are well known for. He is a laidback gelding who knows all of the basics. He received 60days professional training in 2023 and is currently completing another 30days.

Rides well in the arena and confidently on the trail, alone or with others. Ground drives, ties, bathes, good with feet, can live in a herd or alone. Not spooky. No buck/rear. Requires a handler with the ability to set boundaries as he can be pushy if given the opportunity.

Zeus is super charming, kind, and is looking for his partner in crime to adventure with!

It was a great day! We worked on ranch riding patterns and everyone went home with something to work on. Thank you to everyone who came out to ride and watch.

𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁: A typical 𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙝 𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 run includes more walking, trotting and extend­ed trotting than loping. Focus on that 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, from lope to extended trot. It’s a really good maneuver that’s not offered in any other class, and that extended trot 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙚.

I am beyond happy with how my personal horses have come along this year. Both horses scores consistently improved through out the season. The Gypsy really impressed me with how she held her own in classes full of Quarter Horses, it really proved that any breed can show in Ranch riding!

NF Aslans Astra was Champion and Watch This Playgun was Reserve Champion in the Lets Get Ranchy Fall Online Circuit. We competed against horses in the USA, Canada, and Europe. It was a great Green Horse year for both of them.

Thank you to my cheering squad from the Cariboo to the coast, I appreciate everyone’s encouragement and support.

I’m looking forward to another year full of training and showing.

Come out and learn the basics. You will learn how to handle your rope, terminology, and positioning.

We had a great day at the Canoa Farms Mountain Trail Show back in October. Thank you Wild Mane Photos for the beautiful photos! We scored multiple 10s through out our patterns and had the highest score of the day. I am proud of how versatile this mare is becoming.

Ride all winter and be ready for the show ring next spring!

Penny is an 8 year old 13.2hh mare. No buck bolt or rear, but is a forward moving pony. Would be great for a small lady or confident youth. Has walk, trot, canter, and has jumped a 2’6 course. Could use fine tuning on her transitions and does not currently have changes. She could also be a fun gymkhana pony. Penny is great on the trails. She has lots of exposure to kids, dogs, quads, farm equipment. Absolute sweetheart!
