Back at Joe’s house this weekend. We had a lovely chat after breakfast 🤗
Still some availability this Summer. Having got ourselves a new puppy, all our Summer getaway plans are cancelled 😂

We’ve been at Joe’s house the past few days! Joe had a twice a day pop in for feeding and a fuss. He has a cat flap so comes and goes as he pleases, but he’s always happy to see me for his food and treats 🥰

I always try to spend time to have a sit down and a chat for a bit, and as a vet nurse, you are always naturally checking them over too!
I also open and close curtains and lights on if required.

I still have spaces over the summer but these are getting filled, so do get in touch if you require home visit care for your cats and small pets this summer ☀️🐾❤️

Summer holidays all booked? Or a cheeky Easter break? If you haven’t arranged the animals yet, please do get in touch. I am already getting bookings, and in between my Vet nurse locuming I do still have some spaces to offer for this year. I offer a drop in service for cats and small animals. I can’t offer boarding or live in I’m afraid.

I am DBS checked, insured and registered for tax as self employed. I am also an experienced veterinary nurse with over 24 years of experience, so happy to care for your pets medical needs as prescribed by your vet 😊

Beautiful Oakley 🥰
Oakley’s first walk with me, safe to say he had a grrrrreat time!
Did you know all the dogs I walk will wear a Tractive gps tracking collar? Not that I’m expecting them to escape our secure dog field, but it can also show owners how active they’ve been and the timings of the walk. I’m a huge fan of the trackers, and believe all dogs should wear one!
If you are looking for a pick up and drop off dog walking service, please get in touch.
Prices start at £25 per dog - this includes collecting from your home (10 min in garden first), taken for a 45 min walk in our secure dog park Lodge Farm Dog Park Thorney, wash off and towel dry, return home and settle back in their beds with a feed or treat as necessary. Discounts available for two dogs. Small to medium breeds only at the moment. (Up to Labrador size due to space in crate in car) 🐾🐾🐾🐾

Teddy and Dotty had a whale of a time on their first walk yesterday! They were a pleasure, although a little timid at first, they soon became happy and confident once they got running around the field and sniffing in the woods. They were returned happy, tired and towel dried back to their beds, and in the words of their owner when she got home from work ‘they have been curled up on the sofa since I got home’!!

Did you know that in conjunction with our other business Lodge Farm Dog Park Thorney I offer pick up and drop off dog walking? I can collect your dog from your home, take them for a 45-60 min off lead walk safely in our field, wash off and towel dry and return home?
I can settle at home and feed or treat as appropriate too. Discounts available for 2 dogs. At the moment I only have room for up to Labrador size (secure crate in car) but as I get busier I will look into a van to do group walks if needed.
I am fully insured to transport dogs, and dbs checked.

The very purry Beni celebrating national black cat day 🤗
Beni has a food allergy which results in a skin condition, but this is very carefully managed by his owner. Beni needed a specific diet, daily brushing and a careful eye kept on his coat, in case he became stressed and started chewing at his skin. Being a vet nurse I’m happy to do this and luckily he was kept totally stress free whilst his owners were away, enjoyed his daily brushing and no trips to the vet needed 🥰

I was so sad to hear today, of the passing of the very beautiful Cassie. I looked after Cassie several times over the summer, and she was such a pleasure. We’d often sit on the bench in the garden, catching some sun and having a chat 🤗
They are such a pleasure to have, but so very hard to say goodbye to 😢

Petsit has an exciting new venture to share! We are opening a new secure dog park on Crowland road in Thorney. For exclusive hire to walk your dog and have some safe, off lead fun. It also means I can soon expand to dog walking with a pick up and drop off service. We hope to open the dog park early November, so give Lodge Farm Dog Park Thorney a follow to be the first to know when the big day will be!

The very beautiful Daisy was extremely timid and scared the first time I looked after her. It was all I could do to find her in the house, usually peeking out from behind the sofa 😬
The second time was totally different! She decided I wasn’t so scary after all, and now we are firm friends enjoying a fuss and sit on the sofa 🥰
