COCO-This little lady Coco is precious 💞 , eager to please 🙏 ,and a real snuggle bug 🐞.
She walks well, loves fetch, takes direction, is housetrained, and is mostly crate trained (she does take some time to settle if you're not in the room). She also does this adorable little happy feet 🐾 dance when she gets excited to see you 🥰.
Coco has spent her first few years in a rural environment and has learned to play lookout for her home and property, but warms up to visitors quickly after being introduced.
Coco is quite friendly with people but is best introduced in an open environment. Her Interactions with other animals is often reactive, so proper, controlled introductions are always a must.
I think some of that reactivity has developed due to the stress and new environment. She's lived with other dogs, kids and cats in the past without major issue but initial tests living with a senior female showed that she would require a slow and controlled introduction, clear boundaries, and signs of what us humans might call "jealousy".
She does have barrier aggression, making life in the shelter very stressful and difficult for her. Once the barrier is removed, she is a completely different dog, but that initial aggression is a major deterrent for potential adopters, so finding an experienced foster would be super helpful for her. (This includes in the vehicle).
Despite those issues, this little lady deserves another shot at love. She had a loving family before but had to be rehomed due to family circumstances and no fault of her home. She is incredibly loving, eager to please and bonds incredibly quickly!
We think it would be best for her to go to a home with no other animals.
Give us a call if you’d like to meet this sweet girl!🐾☺️
