This is 23! 🎉🎈

Today I turn 23, a birthday that I was honestly dreading because let’s be real here - adulting sucks 😆
But I am also proud to be here. There were moments where I didn’t want to think about the next day let alone months. The person I am today is not the same as the one I was a year ago.

The person I am now will not surround myself with people who don’t value my presence and contributions.

The person I am now recognizes and expresses their boundaries.

The person I am now is comfortable in my skin.

The person I am now is calm, and rationale.

The person I am now is happy.

The person I am now is the best version of me yet, but next year will be even better.

Cheers to the people I’ve met, the people that I’ve lost, the people that have hurt me and the people that have loved me. Each and every one of you have made me be my favourite version of myself yet 🤍

It may not be barkday anymore but there’s always something to celebrate each day! 💕

In honour of we want to share what we are thankful for. We are thankful for having a safe place to rest, eat, bathe and sleep.
Too often I find myself getting lost in all the wants of the world but today I am grounded, humbled and appreciative of my safety. My heart hurts for those who do not have a safe place.
Although our platform is not a physical form of shelter we want to reiterate that Benji’s Bandanas is a safe place for discussion, and conversation.
