Nakita enjoyed meeting all of her new two-legged and four-legged friends at the Husky Huddle in Johnson Creek this morning! She’s 2-3 years old, friendly with other dogs and kids. Not tested with cats yet. She’s mostly potty-trained with an occasional accident, but that’s to be expected. She loves to be with her humans and is very social. She’d love another dog in her forever home. If you’re interested in adopting Nakita, go to http://rescue.fluffydog.net/adoptable-dogs.html to find her. They adopt to people living in Wisconsin, Illinois or the Twin Cities that are 24 and older.

Meet Nakita! She is a young husky that has been with us for just a couple of days. What we know so far:
1. Super friendly. She may look intimidating but she’s a giant baby.
2. Potty trained. No accidents so far!
3. Super smart. She loves puzzles and learned to sit for treats in 30 minutes. We’re working on other commands.
4. Medium energy. She’s happy to lay around if you’re watching TV but will follow you with curiosity if you’re moving around the house.
5. She sheds. Of course, she’s a husky. Her fur is shorter than most huskies and she sheds about as much as an average shedding dog.
