Common green iguanas (Iguana iguana) do not make great pets for most people. They make even worse gifts. They are frequently available as pets, but vastly more complicated and needy than many owners anticipate or are prepared to provide for between their diet, their behavior, and their housing requirements. Baby iguanas are truly cute and appealing, but they do not stay that tiny for long. Healthy adult green iguanas are truly majestic – and intensely demanding – lizards. If you are interested in working with a pet green iguana, it is essential that you learn extensively about the species before committing to their care.

As this is a part of the year when gift shopping is on the minds of many people, let this serve as a reminder that any pet, and especially reptile pets, are not gifts. All pets require a hefty amount of preparation, in order to appropriately meet their needs. Reptiles are in general quite long-lived, require specific temperatures, lighting, foods, and species-specific care. All of these things mean that prospective pet owners generally need to spend significant time learning about and preparing for a new pet before they bring it home.

Ok let’s settle the question “do reptiles play with toys” once and for all. Yes, yes they do. Lest any doubt me this is Rosco’s favorite toy. He loves his toy more than even food. Believe it or not. Tom Crutchfield, Vanessa Crutchfield

This is JayDay let’s help the Crutchfield’s try and get Jimmi back. For every one complaining about cameras and this and that. Let’s not forget this family has been raising reptiles before most of your parents where born. They have reptiles in there collection older than most of our kids. That means spending time with them feeding them and loving them some for over 20 years. So the issues we need to be talking about is how do we get the people going around Florida doing this to our friends and families. An that can start right here. The more money we come up with the better our chances are stopping them and getting Tom his reptiles back. So please I don’t care if it’s only a few dollars every dollar helps. People this sick would turn in a loved one in for enough cash. We have an amazing group let show them how amazing we are. For every one who has all ready donated thank you. Love you for it Jimmi is not Tom’s pet. Heck besides the partho eggs he doesn’t even breed Jimmi ! Jimmi is Tom’s and his family friend and family member. They love her just as one of them. Thanks for your time. We will get Jimmi back safe and sound. Let’s do it together. So we know Jimmi is Safe and with the Crutchfield’s.❤️🦎🦎🦎
