Find us at this event on the 24th!
Our last market for the season is August 24th and it’s hard to believe it’s come so soon! This year has been wonderful and with over 100 vendors rotating throughout the season it has been so much fun highlighting such a diverse selection of artisans, vintage & food vendors.
As we close our 10th year in Proctor, we would like to thank the & for supporting our journey that led us to our own city block to safely operate and offer our community something to be proud of.
Thank you Amalia for your hard work as our market manager. You are amazing and your care made the community feel cared for and that makes a world of difference. Thank you to Janine & Paula for your hard work setting up our signs & greeting folks as they arrive to set up in those early hours, your care was appreciated!
A special thank you to the creative community for being a part of our market this year, for showing up on time and for your positive vibes that contributed to the overall “good feeling” we all experienced together at ! Tacoma needs & wants a marketplace bustling with great music (thanks ), excellent coffee (thanks ), fresh bread () and the best dang vegan burger and “that corn” () and of course the variety of bakers that popped up to bring us all the sweets!
Tacoma wants the diversity that we delivered, the smiling faces excited to share culture, community & love.
Thank you to our youth that participated in our program that holds space for the children of this community. You all hold our future in your hands and we have so much hope & respect for you. Your part in this community holds value and we are excited to continue supporting you & adding to your toolbox on your entrepreneurial journey.
Finally, we are proud to announce our formation of LA PALOMA PROJECT, a 501(c)3. Our mission is to support entrepreneurs from underrepresented populations to achieve their full potential through marketplace incubation, coaching, and diverse cohort models. Stay tuned for more on this as we create & offer programming in 2025.
Until we meet again 🪶
