Do you remember when Rumor won Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club show back in 2017? I can't believe it's been that long ago. Did you know that Giuseppe competed at Westminster this year, and that he's also a grandson of Rumor? That's right, our sweet, not so little, Lena & Giuseppe pups are great grandbabies of the lovely Rumor herself. 2 girls and 1 boy still looking for their forever families.

Boss celebrated his 3rd Birthday here last week. When he was just a baby we decided to hold him back with the dreams of him being extremely important to our DDR line preservation breeding program. His pedigree is impressive and impossible to find in todays modern day DDR gene pool. While he's grown up to be a fine young man, we have since discontinued our DDR program and sold or retired all of the females, so Boss really doesn't have a purpose here, as he's not what we're looking for to breed our other girls to. Boss has OFA Fair Hips, Normal Elbows, PennHIP tested, DM Clear, and Embark tested. Boss has sired 3 beautiful litters for us and is ready to move on to benefit your program or become your beloved companion. He is available with Full registration or can be neutered before leaving to be a companion for a lesser fee. Boss is located in Central Oregon, transportation can possibly be arranged.

I try to keep politics off the page, but this is really happening. I worked in the veterinary industry for ~ 15 years, the changes I've seen lately are extremely worrisome. I actually researched this myself several months ago because I was curious who purchased the vet clinic I use when the owner retired, and this is the company that owns them now. A German corporation, not even American. In the past 5 years the cost of the puppy exams is now 4 times what they used to cost, that's just the exam fee, not factoring in products like vaccines, dewormers, microchips, etc. People are reporting being dropped from their pet insurance or having the rates doubled or even tripled. Rates at emergency clinics are outrageous. Something needs to be done to stop this, our pets will be the ones who suffer.

I am considering opening up applications for a Guardian Home for Mija! I am in no rush, we are looking for truly the perfect fit for this special girl!
Mija is an active, 1 year old female from our Marffy x Lena breeding. She LOVES people, loves to play, loves to hike and swim! Her ideal guardian home would:

🚫 No other pets (she wants to be a spoiled only furchild) 🤣
🎾 Like to play fetch, go for hikes & go swimming

Katniss took Yolo and Beans to the lake today. Seems they also like water! These girls are spoken for but their sisters are still looking for love. Hope to get them out for their lake trip tomorrow. I can only handle 2 at a time and even that is exhausting!
