This is something I think all dal breeders get when moving spotty babies on.
There is a reason we move them on young! It also benefits people looking for dals because at a smaller size, tickets are lower than what they would be if we held them back until the spots started to come through more. Also, if we kept some of them for much longer, we wouldn't release them 😅
Most of us also have lots of lineage info on our breeders and can tell from certain backgrounds, how our babies are going to progress. Trust the breeder! Especially when they can provide lineage! It's so so important. Dals have some of the most astonishing progressions going.
Don't miss out on young dals because "they're not spotty enough". Most of the time, you will be insanely surprised. Take this stunning male owned by Crimson Cresties as a perfect example of dal progression! Dals gain spots as they grow.
Trust breeders. Get lineage. You could end up with a stunner like this!
