Due to not longer having access to our facility Comet Cats Sanctuary will no longer be able to help in rehoming or intaking cats and kittens.

We still have 3 kittens available for adoption.

We have ✨Newcomers✨

We have a litter of 5 sweet babies who will be available in just two weeks for adoption.

The litter consist of 3 girls and 2 boys.

These sweethearts had a rough go at life and started as a litter of 11, mom stopped taking care of them around 2.5 weeks of age, therefore I had the honour of caring for them since then.

These sweethearts have been treated for round and flat worms, respiratory issues, conjunctivitis and are on a special diet containing probiotics and digestive care soft food. The vet has given me the go ahead and clean bill of health as soon as they receive their second dose of dewormer.

Birthday: September 5th

✨Cumulus & Lucky✨

What a dynamic duo. We still have these two sweet kitties remaining for adoption.

Cumulus is our sweet boy, loves cuddling, adventuring and his soft food.

Lucky is our sweet girl, very affectionate and loves playing with her brother.

Both kitties would make awesome family pets or as single fur children.

A bittersweet moment.

This post has taken me a few days to write as I was grieving the loss of two of our kittens.

Purrsleys kittens unfortunately did not make it no fault of her own, both kittens past away a few days ago from what seemed to be a respiratory issue.

Some good news to come of it however is that Purrsley has found a forever home and will be going home early to mid November after her vet appointment - she will be vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped as per the request of her new owners.

Our sweet girl has been through a lot and I am looking forward to her being adored and loved upon by her new family.

Our sweet girl ✨Purrsley✨ had her babies yesterday afternoon.

Purrsley is the proud mom of two sweet kittens - Teucrium (cat thyme) and Nepeta (catnip).

This sweet boys name is ✨Cumulus✨

He was very shy upon arriving but has discovered his love of adventuring once settled in; he would make a great fit as a family cat. Prior to arriving at Comet Cats Sanctuary Cumulus was a barn kitten who’s mom went missing, so the owner asked if I would take him and his three other siblings to find them loving homes.

Birthday (approximation): August 3rd, 2022.
Cats: loves his siblings and should adjust well with other cats.
Dogs: had never met a dog to my knowledge but should adjust well.
Children: would be well suited for a family full of love for him from all ages.

When she arrived to us she was very shy and timid, but food is certainly the way to her heart and now she’s a purr machine; she would make a great fit as a family cat. Prior to arriving at Comet Cats Sanctuary Lucky was a barn kitten who’s mom went missing, so the owner asked if I would take her and her three other siblings to find them loving homes.

Cats: loves her siblings and should adjust well with other cats.
Dogs: has never met a dog to my knowledge but should adjust well.

This sweet little babies name is ✨Purrsley✨

She came to us at approximately 6-8 months of age. She appears to be expecting, therefore she won’t be available for adoption until her babies are due and rehomed.

This sweet girl lives up to her name, she is super affectionate, purrs like a machine and loves having head scratches. She will definitely be the little princess of her new home. 💛

Yesterday we welcomed four new additions to our sanctuary.
