A manual skimmer neck cleaner.

A simple design that a few times a day you turn a couple of times to keep your skimmer neck clean and running efficiently.

Completely 3d printed in petg and a simple disassembly means a thorough cleaning is a breeze.

Recommended to use an optional skimmer drain kit if yours doesnt have one fitted already, as you dont need to remove the cup and clean as regularly a drain is used to empty the cup of skimmate.

An automatic protein skimmer neck cleaner.

Various sizes available, this one is a small one to fit a Deltec 400i skimmer.

Fitted with a high torque 3rpm 12v dc motor, simply connect to your aquarium controller or stand alone timer or smart plug and have it switch on a few times a day to automatic clean the skimmer neck.

Its important for skimmer efficiency to keep the neck clean, using a product like this means you no longer have to constantly remove and manually clean the neck to maintain this efficiency, you do of course have to periodically clean the build up on the rubber blades.

Supplied with a 12v dc adapter, larger versions have an adjustable width twin blade holder design.

All versions are secured to the skimmer cup with three large thumbscrews that are silicone capped to prevent scratching and slipping when the motor is turning.

Recently designed and manufactured and currently being tested prior to releasing them is this ATS or Algea Turf Scrubber.

A simple principle where you have inside the unit a mesh screen that acts as a waterfall, you hook the unit up to a manifold or stand alone pump, the water flows down the mesh screen and either side of this screen are grow lights to encourage algae to grown on the mesh screen, the lights run a reverse cycle to your main display lights so helping to maintain the ph level.

Simply put the algae grows on the screen using the nutrients in your water and not in your display tank, you then harvest the algae when required which will entirely depend on your nutrient levels, put the screen back in place and repeat. You can control your nutrient levels by having the lights on a shorter or longer time, its not recommended to have them on 24 hours though as the algae needs time to recover from the intense light it receives.
