Dog Who Had His Ears Ripped Off Just Wants to Cuddle and Find a Forever Home
After a dog was savagely assaulted by two other dogs, Greenville County Animal Care issued an urgent need for a volunteer to bring an injured canine to a vet clinic.

When two women out strolling overheard a ruckus at a residence, Legend was saved. They arrived to investigate and discovered two Pit bulls assaulting the dog. The three canines were transported to Greenville County Animal Care after being contacted by animal control.

When Alexay first saw Legend, he was covered in blood and bite wounds. His torso was riddled with bite marks, his left ear had been cut, and his right ear was hanging on a thread.
"You could see all of his puncture scars from his shoulders forward," Rizzo told The Greenville News. "When he moved, blood flowed from a couple of serious wounds."

Buddy the Dog is “Totally Healed” One Year After Getting Badly Burnt by a Kid
Buddy, a dog, made headlines a year ago after being the victim of a child's violent burn attack, which severely damaged his face.

Buddy, on the other hand, never lost his spirit, and he's made a miraculous recovery in recent months - and now, a year later, his new owner has confirmed that Buddy is "completely cured" and doing well.
Buddy originally made headlines in April when he returned home with horrific burns on his face after being set on fire. His flesh was scorched, and the agony was so intense that his eyelids swelled shut, blinding him. He was also wearing an extension cord around his neck, which he claimed was used to bind him.

Stray Pup Covered In Thousands Of Ticks And Wire Embedded In Her Tail Shows Her True Strength
Blossom, the dog, was discovered by an OrphanPet volunteer in Greece. She'd been a stray on the streets for weeks, if not months. The poor dog was in terrible shape.
A chain wire had become entangled in her tail and had been there for quite some time. The chain grew enormously bloated because it was so tightly wrapped around her tail.

She Gave Birth Without Eating For A Month, Iterally Devoured By Worms
The owner died more than a month ago. Her son abandoned her as well; we assume she was about to give birth because the babies are numerous if they survive a month. She gave birth and fasted for a month there.

We have no idea how she or those two insignificant soldiers managed to survive. Worms physically devoured her while she was trapped on her mother's breast, devoid of milk and suffering from severe anemia. Despite the fact that her illness makes it difficult for her to move, she was ecstatic when she was finally free.

Pit Bull Who Was Saved From Dog Ring Becomes First Arson-Detection K9 Officer
For many dogs, life can sometimes be tough and unfair. The worst thing is when, at the very beginning, the dog does not get the proper chance. Then, fate takes him in the wrong direction without him being able to do anything about it.

This is exactly the fate that befell Hansel, the Pit Bull who ended up in a dogfighting ring when he was only a few weeks old. To make matters worse, when he was seven weeks old, he was put on the euthanasia list, along with 20 other dog fighters.

Everything was heading in the direction of tragedy, but then good people stepped in and started a global campaign, , to save those dogs from euthanasia. Among them was Hansel and his sister, Gretel.

It was a light at the end of the tunnel, and suddenly, better days were ahead for this Pit Bull.
The non-profit organization, Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary, played a leading role in saving Hansel and the other dogs. They immediately transferred them to Dogs Playing for Life, in Florida, to be fully evaluated and trained.

Severely Abused Dog Refuses To Trust Any Hooman That Approaches
When some Good Samaritans noticed a pup running around South Bend, Indiana, obviously frightened and looking for shelter, they immediately decided to act.

The group tried to approach the adorable dog, but as soon as they got too close, the pup got frightened and swiftly ran away.

Before he ran away, however, the hoomans noticed something heartbreaking – the pup’s muzzle had been zip-tied shut.

With this realization, the group of rescuers knew they had to act fast.
The determined hoomans thought that the best plan of action would be to call the South Bend Police for assistance.

Man From Illinois Decided To Foster A Pregnant Stray Pittie And Give Her Puppies A New Home
Homeless dogs live in hope that humans will stop passing them by, give them a friendly smile, and help them live a better life.

Abused Dog, Rex, Has The Pawfect Siblings To Help Him Overcome Anxiety
A couple of months ago, a Reddit user posted a heartwarming video of his two dogs comforting their anxious dog sibling.

The clip captures a small Shih Tzu dog named Huxley and a white, deaf dog named Winnie trying to take care of their big brother, Rex, which is an English/French Mastiff mix.

Rex suffers from a bad case of anxiety-related behavior due to a very disturbing upbringing and multiple abusive owners
According to a study conducted by the University of Helsinki, in Finland, dogs are particularly prone to a wide range of anxiety-like traits,[1] especially when those dogs are abused throughout their upbringing.

Looking at the survey data, they found out that 72.5% out of 13,715 pet dogs from Finland that participated in this research displayed anxiety-like behaviors. [2]

According to Rex’s dad, Rex was abused as a puppy by his previous owners. He is actually Rex’s fourth owner, and he got him when Rex was 1.5 years old.

Every dog’s dream is to be in a warm home with a loving family. Sadly, not every canine is lucky to live such an ideal life, so many of them have to settle for a shelter. However, for most dogs, it is not a place where they can find true happiness.

It is especially difficult for dogs that have spent most of their lives in a warm home to get used to the four walls of a kennel. After so much love from the dearest people, it’s not easy to adapt to a place where you can’t even see people most days.

Unfortunately, shelter staff are witnessing these situations more and more recently, and it is especially difficult for them when owners abandon their pets for no reason. That’s exactly what happened at one shelter in West Milford, New Jersey.
A dog named Diesel was surrendered to the West Milford Animal Shelter Society (WMASS), located in West Milford, New Jersey, in March 2024. According to Newsweek, their volunteer, Richard Adamonis, was so upset because of this dog’s fate that he just had to share his story.

MY HUSBAND WANTS HIS DAUGHTER TO INHERIT MY FAMILY NECKLACE INTENDED FOR MY DAUGHTER.

I've been married to my husband Joey for 2 years and we dated for 4 years. I have a daughter, Emily (13f), and Joey has a daughter, Sophia (14f).

My family has a tradition of giving an emerald necklace that's passed down from a mother to their eldest daughter or son on their 14th birthday.

Recently Joey brought up the necklace. He said it would be nice for Sophia to receive the necklace since it would show her that I TRULY accepted Sophia as my daughter.

I didn't love this idea as Emily is waiting to receive it. It's her birthday soon.

Brave Goldendoodle Rescues A Baby Fawn From Drowning In A Lake

Not all heroes wear capes… that’s for sure! Some wear nothing but a smile, like Harley!

This hero Goldendoodle from Virginia made headlines all over the world, jumping into action when his help was needed the most!

This six-year-old canine was spotted by his owner, Ralph Dorn, about 200 feet from shore, paddling with an unknown animal for the most selfless reason ever.

When he came a little closer, Ralph realized that Harley wasn’t just casually swimming – he was in the middle of a rescue mission! Ralph Dorn, a man from Virginia, knew that his Goldendoodle, Harley, wasn’t an ordinary dog. He has always been a good boi, very intuitive and stunningly intelligent.

This Mama Dog Was Crying After Being Dumped At The Shelter Without Her Babies
When Cinnamon – a red nose Pitbull girl – was dumped at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control shelter in North Carolina, she was absolutely heartbroken.

She had been abandoned without her babies, and every time anyone stopped to talk to her, tears filled her eyes.

This sad Pitbull mama caught the eyes of one volunteer, who then decided to film a short video of her and post it on Facebook.

Only 48 hours later, the life of Cinnamon completely changed.
Sarah Jennings Sleime, normally a volunteer for the Greater Charlotte SPCA, decided one Saturday that she was going to make a spontaneous trip to animal control to check out a couple of dogs for rescue.
