Hey there!!! Time to order treats!!!
This week we are offering one baked treat- Bo's Bag of Treats!!
I'll post the order form on 5/9. Ordering will close 9/14.
Bo's Bag of Treats has the good stuff- Oats, carrots, apple sauce, white beans.
I don't know about your kiddos, but Goose knows the second I open a can of cans. (Weird, I know)
Bo's treats are soft and crumbly.........they always come back to clean up the crumbles!

Dodger's Dog Bites are simple and delicious- PB, oats and sweet potato.
Mo Mo's are coconut oil, PB, rice & pumpkin.

We're back! This week we're making Basil Bites!! Basil Bites are a healthy frozen treat with just 3 ingredients. Bananna, yogurt and blueberries.

Oh my goodness here we go! This week we are offering one treat- Vinnie's Veggie Treats. Baked, moist & crumbly. 5 ingredients. 4 100% FRESH VEGGIES!!! (Small amount of flour added as a binder in baking) Broccoli, carrots, white bean, green beans.
Each order will include a list of ingredients with benefits! (And a little extra thank you!)

Hi Friends! Most of my friends know I have a small, local business- Spicy Mary.
I've been making homemade dog treats for years as a hobby so I thought I'd share them with my local pup parents for their fur babies!
Each week I will post the name and description of the treats we offer that week, along with an order form & delivery/pick up date. Feel free to order as often or as little as you like.
Our treats come with the freshest of ingredients so they must be kept refrigerator or frozen.
We will start our first orders on April 8th!

Thanks for returning the surveys!! Waiting on a few more.
One of the construction feedback that I am getting is that the bag is not resealable. I was thinking about how to switch over to ziplocks but keep my prices low. (Have to keep my costs down!)
Thinking I'll include a twist tie in the treat bags. Once you untie the bag you can simply twist tie the bag you have. Thoughts?

I'm learning as I go! Mo Mo treats and Basils MUST be frozen. I HIGHLY recommend putting the others in the frig as they have fresh ingredients. I had a sampler reach out that left a pack out on the counter and it molded. That's tough to hear:(
Going forward, to be on the safe side, I will advertise as a 'frig treat'

Treat samples have been passed out! I'm very eager to get the surveys back.
I'm holding back on going forward as I don't want to make this a small business if my surveys give me feedback that I need to keep working on things. Please be honest; hurt my feelings, I CAN TAKE IT!!!!!
I'm not putting out beautiful treats with icing, etc. I want to be affordable & provide treats that have health benefits and are an occasional treat that your kiddos look forward to.
No obligation to buy........I asked friends that I knew would be honest, to participate.

I HIGHLY recommend all of our treats are refrigerated. But Basil Bites and Mo Mos only survive in the freezer!

Delivery date has arrived!
Things to keep in mind.......Be HONEST!! Above everything else, give me the brutal truth buuuttttt then again😆I rushed to get treats out because I missed my bake date. Going forward my goal is that treats will look nicer (not that fido cares)
I can't wait for the feedback. good or bad. This will be the deciding factor on going forward.

Baking has begun!!! Today I made Mo Mo Treats, Basil Bites, Bree's Biscuits, and the 'dough' for Millie's Munchies. So much fun!!
Baking continues tomorrow. I'm REALLY hoping to even deliver a couple of orders tomorrow evening.
Going forward, treats will be baked one day and delivered the next. This is a different situation because I'm baking almost all of my recipes at the same time.
I will reach out with your delivery day so keep an eye out for that!

Hi sampler parents! Shopping day is coming up and baking is next weekend! Delivery is the14th. (MIGHT POSSIBLY MAYBE start the evening of the 13th) If there is anyone who can no longer participate or is no longer interested, please let me know! I'm purchasing ingredients to make $280 worth of dog treats so I need to plan accordingly.
Please watch your email this week. I'll be sending the questionnaire out. I will drop off a paper form when I drop off the treats; paper or online is fine with me, I just appreciate getting it back!

As of yesterday my oven is officially fixed!! I'm ready to bake, yo!! Looking at the calendar for March I would love to deliver treats on the 13th & 14th. POSSIBLY the 12th. Please let me know if this does not work for you. And thank you for being so patient and helping me out!

My friend asked me to make a treat that is higher in protein.......not a problem! I am currently working on the recipe for two protein treats. The first treat is called Scobby Stew and contains beef and veggies.........just like a stew. My second recipe is going to be very protein forward for those active, young runners.

Guys, I have everything ready. My baking molds, I've created all the recipes, purchased my treat bags, created the package labels, color coordinated the ribbons on the treat bags; I've got my thank you stickers, my questionaire completed. I purchased all the ingredients to bake for 2 whole days. This weekend is baking weekend!! WAS baking weekend😣 Adam got up this morning to make breakfast and realized our oven broke. The good news is that it's a cheap fix that Adam can do; saving us lots of money.
But because he has to order the part & install the bad news is I can't deliver treats on Monday because I can't make them right now. I'm SO bummed🥲 I've been planning this for weeks:( It worked out perfectly because I planned two days of baking and delivering all day on Monday.
Please stand by and plan to be my tasters in the very near future!
Meanwhile keep checking back; I'll post a new delivery date once my oven is fixed.
While we're waiting for that part to come in, I'll post some questions that I would LOVE to have feedback to!

Thank you to Tracie Linville for teaching me about Google forms. I now have the entire survey online to send to everyone. SO much easier on all of us!!
I would love to email the survey to you this weekend and deliver the treats on Monday.

Each family will receive several bags of treats and a survey. Getting the survey back is VERY important to me!!! You can return the survey by dropping it off in my mail box; letting me know when it's complete & I'll pick it up from you, mailing it, or emailing it. Co workers can get it to me.
