Hesston is doing great! We have been extremely busy the last few weeks so our progress has been slow, but itās picking up now. So excited for the next couple months with this handsome guy!
Day 14: Eating out of my hand! š„°
SuperNova seems to be calming down some. Darby spent some early morning time with her today š
Tag #7801 got his tag off yesterday so now he gets his name! There was A LOT of debate in our family over what it should be but we all agreed on Hesston! So he is now Hesston. Also in big news, he sniffed me and booped my hand with his nose last night for the very first time! Of course I didnāt get it on video but it made my whole day! š
SuperNova is still not setting in well, we made her pen smaller and it dumped rain yesterday so now itās a little muddy. She is still very nervous and not really interested in people at this point. She mostly just paces the fence line. Iām sure weāll get that turned around soon. Darby is so excited about her and loves her so much already.
Did a couple short sessions with this fella today, he is so calm and seems to be very smart. He got curious and followed me around for a little bit. He has hogs, sheep, cows, horses and peacocks all around him and doesnāt seem to be worried about much at all. Darby made some big progress with her spicy little filly, will post that tomorrow.
Once we got the horses home we let them settle in a bit , then Darby spent probably 2 hours matching steps with SuperNova. She is pretty high strung but Darby got in a couple shoulder touches. she is determined to get that number off today!
Tag# 7801 šā¦ havenāt decided on a name yet
