Hi everyone! It’s been a long time! 🌿

Cozy Paws is back and better than ever- we are so happy to be able to jump back in to helping the cats and kittens of our community again!

We are no longer operating as a rescue or able to take any cats at this time. Eventually we hope to become a rescue with 501(c)(3) status- but as of right now we plan to do our part where we can.

Cozy Paws is available for supporting local rescues, sharing and creating events, TNR and transport support.

We’re happy to be back- feel free to reach out!

Olive and Spruce were adopted!! 🤍🌿🤍

Olive and Spruce are the sweetest little bonded pair of siblings! They came to us from a shelter after supposedly being at risk of euthanasia. We were able to pull them and give them a second chance!! They are the biggest cuddlers and have so much love to give- and their new home loves them just as much!!

Orange Kitty was adopted!! 🧡🐱🧡

He is happy and thriving with his new family- and his new name is Macaroni!!

Macaroni (formerly known as Orange Kitty!) was found stranded and unable to see by a family 2 hours away- we met halfway, picked him up, and brought him back home 🧡 After struggling with an eye infection and the worst fleas that we had ever seen- he was completely rehabilitated and happy as can be, and such a playful, funky little guy!

We are so happy he found his furever home with these lovely humans!

Do you remember Orange Kitty? We have quite the update for you! 🧡🐈🧡

After struggling with an eye infection and the worst fleas we’ve ever seen- Orange Kitty was adopted!!!

Say hello to another friend here at Cozy Paws.
This sweet little kitty came to us covered in fleas, struggling to open their eyes, and very very hungry.

Their first bath was given and the water turned red from the amount of blood that came off with fleas, telling us that vet care was needed immediately!

Luckily, we have another vet visit tomorrow to officially get these fleas off, and make sure this little kitten can see!

The first photo is from when they were found, and the second photo is after their first bath! If you’re interested in sponsering, fostering, or adopting this little bean after all treatment is complete- please comment or reach out!

Hi everyone- unfortunately due to some very unexpected personal life challenges and lack of donations / fosters, we will officially be closing down as a rescue on March 5th, 2023.

We will still be active in the community to help these sweet kitties as much as we can, but unfortunately will not be taking in any additional rescues.

We would like to make a statement to all fellow rescuers that it costs nothing to BE KIND. If someone reaches out to you for help, they are already doing more than the folks who dump or harm these cats and kittens. Please remember that when new rescuers join the community and don’t know where to start.

We still have a few rescues that need to find their forever homes- please reach out if you know anyone who wants to bring in a new member of the family 🤍

Thanks again for everyone who supported our mission and sent love to our kitties!!

Isn’t our little kitten crew the cutest?!?
From the left we have Patches, Miso, Olive, and Spruce. Our 4 kittens from two different litters who adopted eachother as siblings. Two born during Hurricane Ian and rescued with their mama and the other two rescued from euthanasia. They LOVE to play and especially love cuddling in a kitten pile!

Happy holidays from our kitten crew! 🎄
Miso & Patches are the two grey/black kittens pictured. They absolutely love cuddling up with eachother but are still weary of human cuddles! They are available to be adopted together in 2023.
Our two white kittens (one not pictures because he fell asleep in a box elsewhere) are also available for adoption and would love to be in a furever home together!
The last kitty we have available to adopt is our adult cat Cleo who is not pictured. She is very quiet and timid, but is the sweetest thing.

Patches and Miso are still looking for their furever home!

We’ve realized that Patches and Miso are in fact bonded and need eachother to thrive. They would do best in an environment where they can be together in a calm and cozy space. Although neither are aggressive, they both need a home where they’ll be welcomed with patience and kindness. Both Patches and Miso (but more so patches) have a mild fear of humans, especially humans with grabby hands.

Meet our most photogenic little kitten.
This sweet boy was brought in to a shelter along with his mama and two siblings. After almost being euthanized, we were luckily able to give these kitties a second chance! This gentle kitty loves to play and would do great in a home with his sibling or with kiddos.
