With increasing levels of toxic compounds in our environment, we need strategies to help buffer ourselves from the effects they can have on our bodies. Avoidance is first and foremost. Studies in cells and in animals suggest that certain compounds in plants known as polyphenols (it's the largest class of phytochemicals) may be helpful in reducing the impact of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and their metabolites: acrylonitrile, polychlorinated biphenyls, dioxins, phthalates and bisphenol A.

Of course, we need human clinical data to support these findings, but why wait? Eating the rainbow of diverse, colorful foods provide fiber, vitamins, minerals, and thousands of phytochemicals to help keep the body in check.

What to do with your Radish Micros??

GR**GO TACOS!! See at our house it is not just Tacos on Tuesdays, it’s Tacos EVERY DAY all day for life!! After all, Tacos never broke my heart………🤗!!

Recipe:

1lb grass fed organic 80% fat ground beef
1 can of “El Pato” hot sauce
1 dozen yellow corn tortillas
Spray butter
Garlic infused olive oil
Garlic Salt
Pepper
Oregano
Sweet Onions
Butter Lettuce
Mozzarella Cheese
Radish Microgreens
Lemmons

Quick how to:

Cook ground beef add garlic salt/pepper > @ 80% complete add garlic olive oil to slightly char 30% of the meat for texture and rendering of taste (do not dry out meat) > add in minced sweet onions > once fully cooked transfer to a bowl > take 1 can of “El Pato” hot sauce (yellow can with a duck sold at Walmart) and add it and mix into a small bowl along with 1 tablespoon of oregano and a dash of garlic salt > mix and pour into your hot cooked ground beef > get a separate pan and cook corn tortillas > butter each tortilla and sprinkle with garlic salt on each end > flip a couple times until it’s slightly crispy but butter is not dry respray with butter > create your tacos > (in this exact order) add meat to tortilla > add mozzarella cheese > add lettuce > add radish microgreens > squeeze lemon on top > EAT…!!!! 🤗🤗🤗
