A small-scale breeder of Old German Owl and Frillback pigeons, with a side project to create a new pigeon breed. Located in western Colorado.
I place a large focus on the friendliness of my birds while breeding to standard.

It's baby season! These Old German Owls will be available next month. They are out of a sex-linked pair, so no guesswork on gender!
Available bird: Bergamot
4 year old Frillback c**k. Somewhat tame, but hand shy. Could make a great pet with a little work! He's been an joy to have inside for short stints, and will come over and hop on my lap to check out what I'm doing. If you are planning on breeding him, he needs fosters. He is not able to raise peeps due to temperamental issues when on the nest.
Email me at [email protected] if interested. Do not message me on here, I will not respond.
I will no longer be taking messages through this page, please contact me at my email ([email protected]) if you would like to inquire about a pigeon. Available birds will still be posted here, but it is much easier to maintain the email and keep everything sorted there. Thanks!
Assorted loft pictures
Bath time! These guys get a bath with salts designed specifically for pigeons once a week, it makes their feathers super soft. They just got an upgrade, this new bath pan is twice the size of their old one.
These two were hatched just one day apart! Both are now 3 years old 🎉
*These birds will not be able to ship until the weather gets cooler, they are being posted now so those interested can claim them*
I'm downsizing the loft due to personal health issues, and will be selling a little over half of my birds. Details under each photo, but most of these birds have very solid temperaments and would be great as pets or for a companion breeding project. Please contact me if you are interested in one so that I can reserve them for you. I will post more birds as I decide which to keep, some are still maybes.
Backlogged Updates
I will be taking a social media break for a few weeks, so messages may be returned a bit late. Update pictures of peeps from over the break will be posted when I come back!
I'm so happy with the temperament of these two! They are super clingy and sweet!
Junco (splash) is more reserved but happy to sleep in my hand or snuggled up to my leg. Bibi (white self) is incredibly noisy and bold and is always willing to beg me for food.

Salsify being handsome!
Moby is available! She is being rehomed because her m**f size and the quality of her curls are not ideal for my breeding goals. She isn't terribly fond of people but isn't skittish either, and could make a good house pet with a patient owner or paired with another pigeon. She would also do well in a loft environment. Her rehoming fee is $50 plus the cost of shipping and her shipping box. Please message me or email me at [email protected] if you're interested in her. Thanks!
Beau likes standing on my shoes during hangout time
First look at BR1-1 and BR1-2! These two are 1/2 Lucerne, 3/8 OGO, and 1/8 Racer out of Beau and Rutabaga.
Salsify
Ash Red Grizzle Frillback male
6 months old (hatchdate: 6/8/2021)
Unpaired
Salsify turned out so much better than I expected! His curls are loose, but he has good coverage over both of his wing shields. He's a solid keep back for now, especially since he has nice grouse m**fs. If I can find a hen with short m**fs to pair him to, he'll likely end up going back to my Frillback project. If I can't, he may be going to my new breed project (maybe he'll be paired with Kodus this spring while I search for a suitable Frillback hen?), since part of my goal breeding Opuntia was to get some grouse m**fed birds for the self branch of my project.
Moby
Ash Red Grizzle Frillback hen
6 months old (hatchdate: 6/7/2021)
Unpaired
Moby is a very ehhhh bird right now. She has excellent curls on the feathers that actually curl, but coverage is just subpar compared to what it seemed like she would molt out as. She also shows no real improvement over her parents, besides maybe head type (not my current focus). With those long m**fs, I may not risk breeding her back. I'll edit this post with some info on her personality and such if I decide to let her go.
Cosmos
Blue Check Shield RHxOGO male
6 months old (hatchdate: 6/5/2021)
Unpaired
I am debating pairing him with Beau instead of Rutabaga. He has extremely good head type (his beak is nearly perfect!), the only real fault on his head is his wonky crest. Mismarking is minimal. Body type could be improved, but that's an issue I run into with all my RHxOGO males. He has that short, stout body that I'm looking for regardless. I may also end up holding him back a couple years and pairing him with Opuntia when she's ready to retire from my purebred Frillback program (risky, since she's not pied whatsoever. Her head type could lend a lot to the project, though, and she has grouse m**fs) or pairing him with a future COF hen (a safe bet, since tail marking could be bred out easily within a generation of crossing back to shield marks)
Rutabaga
Ash Red Spread Grizzle RHxOGO male
1 year old (hatchdate: 5/8/2020)
Paired with Kodus
Plans are to pair him with Beau, which works out well because he's shown a lot of interest in her. Their peeps will all carry grouse m**fs and may or may not exhibit crest (Rutabaga is split for shell crest). Keep backs will be selected for head shape more like that of Rutabaga.
The male peeps will all carry dilute, all peeps will be either red or blue (plus possible spread and/or grizzle). They should mostly be shield marks, and I'm hoping for a black grizzle from them at some point.
Kodus
Lavender RHxOGO hen
1 year old (hatchdate: 5/8/2020)
Paired with Rutabaga
