23/12/2022
As 2022 comes to an end, our team reflects on what a year we have had. It was our first year as a coordinating rescue and there were lots of challenges to overcome and ever changing logistics to support the northern communities and their dogs.
We are thrilled to be heading into the new year with 2 spay and neuter clinics set for January with the hopes of another 2-3 within the year. Along with the plans for smaller wellness clinics to provide vaccinating, check ups and deworming.
We are so grateful for the rescues that provided partnership with us this year and helped so many of our dogs start a new chapter in life and look forward to working with many in the new year.

Thank you to all the volunteer drivers of the Northern Rescue Drivers, our new friends at Pilots4Paws, Air Creebec & Thunder Air for getting dogs safely to their new destinations.
I, personally want to make note of a few key people that make up POTN main pack.
-Thank you to the Northern communities and their partnership to work together to provide sustainable dog programs
-The families that entrust us with the care of their dogs
-Cindy for all your efforts coordinating the north! Along with community contacts - Floyd, Pam, Brenda, Phoebe and Gisele.
-Amy and the Landers family for all their efforts with coordinating Timmins and our temp fosters!
-Meagan for handling all media, public relations and creative brainstorming!
-Board Members - Halley, Erin & Adam for your continued support
And to all you who have donated, shared and supported in whatever way possible. We can’t do rescue without you. Forever grateful for your kindness.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & all the best as we ring in 2023
From our pack to yours - Holly
