I got the opportunity to go to Park City, UT to attend a Wounded Warrior Program female retreat. We get to spend our adventures with this wonderful service dog name Millie. PS she's on vacation 😉 so we get all the pets, licks, and cuddles we want!

We are so sad to see Chester leave after 3 fun weeks playing and cuddling with my toddler! Not a lot of dogs can tolerate toddlers poking and pulling at them, yet still be gentle.. this dog was the exception! He was such a treat to have

Our new kitten caught her first mouse last night. I picked it up this morning, thinking it was one of her play mice.... NOPE!!!!

I want to share a story about this wonderful dog! Meet Mary-Thelma the Plott Hound! I got her my first year in college. I volunteered at The Siskiyou County Humane society and walked dogs. She was my favorite. Even though I couldn't really house her or had the time for her, I was convinced I had to have her. it was her third time in that shelter. She is quite the escape artist. She eventually went to live with my grandparents on their farm. She has had an amazing 10 years running around the property and causing trouble. She enjoys eating cow pies and catching moles! She is very old now ☹️. She has a lot of pain, but still manages to run the pastures and woods. I get to visit her all the time and she is an amazing farm dog! Now that she is in her senior years, I wanted to dedicate a post to her, because there is still time to cherish this special animal in our lives!
