Ayden Barbecue Festival!

Your GCAS will be attending the Ayden BBQ festival.

Stop by and meet with the adoptable babies that are available.

We will be accepting donations
-Dog and Cat Dry and Wet food
- Puppy and Kitten wet and dog food
- Dog Leashes and Collars
Anything else you would like to give, it's always appreciated.

Saturday May 11th, 2024 from 8am-2pm.

Your GCAS will be in attendance at Farmer and the Dail.

We will be bringing some deserving babies that are searching for their second chance at life.

All adoptions are in cash or check form.

We will also be collecting donations.
- Adult dog/cat food (wet and dry kibble)
- Kitten/ Puppy food (wet and dry kibble)
- Leashes and Collars
- Treats for cats,dogs, pups and kittens (we do kindly ask NO rawhide)
-Gently used/ new fleece blankets
- Any cleaning material ( bleach, toiletries, paper towels)

No amount is too small or big, and brand will be appreciative.

We are excited to see everyone!

🟢Kash is available for adoption or rescue pull🟢

Kash is a 2 year old Male Bully mix. Kash was found in the woods alone and by himself. Kash's owner was unable to reclaim him, he is now waiting for his fur-ever after. Kash is a sweet gentle giant that has a great personality. He is a big boy that still needs to gain a little bit more weight. Even though Kash is almost 2.5 years old, he still has that young puppy energy. He enjoys running and playing with toys. He will need all the training he can get, he did okay on the leash ( he likes to walk between your legs) but with time, he will learn the ropes. Kash has tested well with both intact males and females. He is super people friendly and dog friendly and just would love to the center of all your attention. On 02-18-2022 Kash had a vet visit with his previous owner and he was diagnosed with a Grade 1 heart murmur ( He has not been to a vet since, so he will need to have this checked out with his new family). Kash is a family type of dog, he is gentle and with some TLC he will learn to be a true companion in life. He would do best with an active family, that is experienced with bigger dogs and a family with older children (he likes to jump up). Kash will be neutered prior to going home.

Are they perfect? No, the work that is needed to rescue a shelter dog will truly be rewarding in the long run.

These babies are all so loving and just ready to finally have a family of their own.

Hey everyone,

This Saturday, December 16th 2023 your Greene County Animal Shelter will be at the Holiday Market going on at the Farmer and the Dail from 8am-2pm @ 1329 US-258, Snow Hill, NC 28580.

Come out and meet the adoptable pups that are needing their second chance at life or just stop by and get some love.

We are super excited to be apart of this! This is the last event for this year and we are so thankful of how supportive the community has been this year.

We will be taking Donations, such as Cash, Dog and Cat food (does not matter size or brand), Laundry Detergent, Puppy/ Kitten food or anything else you are willing to give. All will truly be appreciated!

We are needing some solid help with events within the area.

We have 2 events coming up within the next month.

One event is going to be next Saturday November 4th, 2023 from 10am-2pm in La Grange.

The other is the Farmer the Dail event, which will be held 11-11-2023.Thats on a Saturday from 8am-2pm.
