This pretty little Diva is Stella.

She is a 3 yr old Papillon mix. She is NOT a velcro dog ,she walks to the beat of her own drum. What Stella wants Stella gets 😄 (I mean, look at that face. Do you blame us)?

She is dog selective and doesn't seem to mind small dogs as much as big dogs! Sharing is not her thing.

Update:
The little pug is getting more and more comfortable. I’m happy to report that he’s peeing and pooping.

Rescue is hard and expensive. This little man was brought to us with a broken pelvis and a dislocated hip. Recovery is going to be very slow (and painful).

We picked him up from HTown Veterinary Specialists this evening, where he received brilliant care from Dr. Brian Beale, DVM. He’s had tonight’s pain meds and is hopefully settling down for a rest.

Orthopedic surgeries are costly. $5939 just today. He might still need an FHO later on.

Our newest foster is as handsome as they come! 💗
Griffin is a young boy that was having a difficult time cohabiting with his older fur-siblings. He is young and, as with most young bostons, he has a wonderful desire to play and exercise. Griffin will need some help with leaning the basics and we will help him find fun and appropriate ways to channel his busy mind. Also, he will need to be neutered before finding his forever home.
NEBTR will not be accepting or reviewing adoption applications for Griffin until he is neutered and ready for adoption.

Teddy is a sweet little 11 year old yorkie. We've had him for a few months and he's been great with other dogs and people.

He's still pretty active for his age - He can chill on the couch with you all day or go for a walk every morning if you want. He loves to go for car rides and look out the window. He loves attention and will make his presence known when he wants something 😂

He would probably do best in a home without small kids or playful puppies since he's an older guy, but he's really good with other dogs.

Teddy is neutered and fully vetted. He coughs sometimes when hes excited due to a fragile trachea (a lot of small dogs will have issues with this) so we walk him on a harness instead of a collar.

We have yet to find Teddy a home and it is breaking out hearts. Would you be interested in giving this guy a forever home

Happy Tails!!! Little Mona (now Maggie) a 6 month old Cockapoo came to us from a puppy mill. We took her to the vet to have her medical needs taken care of and then we found her a great home! Her new Mom shared this update with us… “She has slowly acclimated to our home and routines. She loves her donut bed, as long as it is at my feet under the table. She prefers to sleep in the big bed at night. She has found her "bark" and uses it liberally, lol! She has learned how to play with toys, which is a big change from the first few days. She also loves the yard and she found her "zoomies" right away. She's loving the outside and is getting along well with the cat, Pumpkin.” Thank you to her new family for adopting this sweet little girl and giving her a wonderful life!!!

Sophie has an incredible temperament. She's truly a gentle soul, getting along splendidly with cats and other dogs. Her friendly and laid-back nature makes her a joy to have in any social setting, and she always seems to know how to bring harmony to the pack.

Sophie still has a spring in her step and thoroughly enjoys going on walks. Despite her chubbiness, she doesn't let it slow her down and is always eager to explore the world around her. Sadly, she was recently returned to us
due to unfortunate circumstances. Both of her owners faced poor health, making it challenging for them to continue providing the care she needed. However, Sophie remains hopeful that she will find a new forever home, where she can bring her warm presence and boundless affection.

Winnie is an energetic 1 year old Dachshund mix who loves attention and playtime.

She’s 10 pounds, spayed, and up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. She’s nervous at first, but once she gets to know you she is so affectionate and loves to play. She just learned how to walk on a leash and enjoys walks in quiet neighborhoods.

She has a lot of energy and needs a home with a fenced in backyard to run around in.
