Hello everyone!!! Writing to you on behalf of Brookie Cookie :

We have unfortunately not been able to reopen due to a growing list of reasons. One of those reasons is that we had a technical issue in our laundry room, which flooded a large part of our 1st floor, including our kitchen. Due to the havoc this has caused, it makes it very hard to continue her mission at this time. In true Brooke fashion.... She is not done raising money or fighting for her cause.

BROOKE is asking that anyone who would have supported her business to please consider donating whatever you would have paid for her baked good - to a local animal shelter. There is no better day than today, Betty Whites birthday to do this !!!

Construction should begin at the house soon ( after many weeks of waiting due to holidays, covid, etc ). she will return better than ever.

We were looking to reopen this fall, however extenuating circumstances have slowed her plans down a bit. As this time she is unable to do her usual weekly orders but may be able to provide holiday cookie plates. Stay tuned and thank you for your patience.

I wanted to take a moment to give a quick update and Thank you to our supporters. For the last few weeks, due to summer, Brooke has only been doing private orders so she can enjoy the summer like the kid she is. With that being said Brooke has managed to officially raise $2600 for local shelters by selling her baked goods to our friends, family and community. From the bottoms of our heart we thank you and will see you in the fall.

Why the fall you ask ??

Her brother Dustin runs a food drive for his birthday !!! Instead of gifts he asks that people consider donating non perishable foods in honor of his birthday so that we can stock the local food pantries. Last year was wildly successful and he is looking to be even bigger this year !!! Anyone interested we thank you in advance for your constant support !!

Hello everyone !!!! Brookie's Cookies has been a little quiet lately because life got REALLY busy. We have also been doing some custom direct orders for friends and their special events !!

She is going to take Memorial day weekend off and jump right back into the usual flow after that. There will be weekly "menu" items for June and then she will put this project on hold until September so her brother does his annual summer food drive. ( it tends to take over our house and she likes to help) she WILL be able to accept custom orders on occasion so keep her in mind over the summer !!!!

As always we appreciate the constant support and community involvement with this project. She has ANOTHER $500 to donate to local animal shelter, it's just amazing to see what she has done !!!!!

She has had a busy week and its delivery day !!

Teacher orders will be finished in the next week, as usual we had a small delay as she ran out of supplies but we are back on track ( a dear friend went to the restaurant supply for us so we could stock up on supplies )!!! All part of the learning process!!!

That means we should be posting a new menu item in about 1 week !!!!

Finishing up the oreo truffles tomorrow, so if you haven't recieved your order yet, you will have it by the weekend !!!

We have had a LOT of birthdays in the past week to celebrate and since I ( Mom ) can't bake she helped me out !!! I know we say it every week but thank you for your patience and continued support !!!

It the day everyone looks forward too .... announcement day !!! And we have a few including THIS WEEKS ITEM at the bottom of this post.

Announcment #1 : Brooke Marion managed to make 30 dozen cookies this week..... 30 !!!! She has 3 last batches to make tomorrow after school, so if I haven't contacted you yet..... She did not forget we just ran out of some materials unexpectedly :) things like this happen when your a kiddo who is still learning.

Announcement #2 : With the kindness of friends and strangers, through purchases, and donations Brooke has surpassed $2000 total funds raised !!!

That's right $1300 to Steven Swan, $500 to
Clinton Pet Rescue .... and well on her way to her $500 goal to the next shelter. When she first said she wanted to raise $2000 for local shelters I thought the goal was to high. Not for her, she hit that goal in under 3 months and still has goals to crush. With the community standing behind her I know it will happen !!!

Announcment #3 : Brookie's Cookies and bars will be closed April 26th - May 9th. The reason being - Her school and the amazing staff are looking to support her. We are creating menu choices and forms just for staff those 2 weeks. She takes great pride in her school and loves the staff so she wants to give these orders her undivided attention. Its the only way we can make it work and we know everyone will understand ! It also just happens those two weekends are VERY busy sports wise for her Brother so it all works out. She Hopes to return with new menu items !

If she has any extra treats or time she will post what she has available.

**update- she has completed 9 of her 25 dozen !! She is doing 4- 5 dozen a day , so if you haven't recieved notification that yours are done, you will hear from us soon ♡ :) **

Brookie's Cookies has started baking the peanut butter kiss cookies !!! I should be announcing the first set of pick ups this evening so check back here tonight !!!

She decided to shut down production yesterday so that she could make brownies for the custodial staff at her school ( she saw them at school over spring break and felt bad they didn't get the time off ) now that her good deed is done she is back to business !!!

Thanks to you wonderful, amazing people and your support Brookie's Cookies and bars was able to donate another $500 to a local rescue !!!! That brings her grand total of funds raised to $1800 and she isn't even close to done !!!!

She is trying out a new receipe today and if it works out we will have a new item tomorrow ♡

As always I thank you for the support in our littles ones mission. This is community, this is kindness, this is people making a difference !!!!

Today's donation recieptant of funds raised was the Clinton Pet vet rescue and sanctuary !!!

** update- ** the mixer has been replaced ( picture below ) ♡♡♡♡ we had the sweetest offer from a community member to replace it. It made my heart swell !!! We informed them that we already planned on replacing it so they made a donation instead !!!! Brookie's cookies mission of kindness works in all kinds of ways !!!! ***

So we had some tears this week. The poor girls hand mixer broke and she didn't want to use MY mixer, she wanted to use HER mixer. Luckily I convinced her that mine would do for now and we are back on track to complete orders.

If I work with you or you are at Westmoreland school yours will arrive on monday so that she can bake them fresh Sunday : )

The Easter bunny stopped by Brookie's Cookies !!! Our head ( and only ) baker now has a rolling cart to store all of her materials on. Including new containers for flour, sugar and cocoa !!!! Notice her new timer ?? Its a dog !!!!

Just a reminder that this WHOLE week ...spring break... she is been completely sold out of preorderered lemon bars. She will resume her normal hours/routine after break. That is posting a "menu" item on Sundays and filling all orders before the following weekend.

Another local business supporting our sweet Brookie's Cookies !!!

Seymour's Excavating of Westmoreland not only order cupcakes for their crew, but gave Brooke a large donation as well !!!! She was over the moon to know another business is supporting her and her mission to give animals a furever home !!! Many thanks for the support we are VERY grateful !!! 🥰🤩🎈

We already knew Seymour's was great but Don't forget to support this local business that supports local kids !!!!

Good morning everyone !!!!

It was a very unproductive baking weekend for Brooke - with her making things from scratch, and her own recipes we hit our first bump in the road. She was experimenting with a new cake receipe, as well as a new frosting reciepe to offer everyone this week ( lemonade cupcakes) The supplies she needed to make them were in extremely short supply. With checking two stores she only had enough materials to make 4 dozen and they are all sold. She was disappointed that was all she could make but we won't sacrifice quality. ♡

Luckily I can get the rest of the materials needed online and these cupcakes will be available over spring break !!! She will make the 12 lemon bars that have already been preordered ( these were merely mentioned a few weeks back and sold out instantly) as well as 6 packs of lemonaide cupcakes. She will make them all fresh daily though the weekend and spring break so stay tuned as to how you can score some of these delicious treats.

As for Steven Swan, yet another weekend has passed that we weren't able to get up there. The person I have been working with has sporadic hours , and by the time she told us we could come up. We were unavailable. Here is to hoping and wishing we get an exact date and time because we have $1300 for them !!!!

Just to keep everyone updated -

Brooke will be making her first large donation to a local shelter this weekend. She hit $1300 that she will be delivering!!!! There has been a small delay because I wanted her to be able to see a dog or two and they are closed to foot traffic currently. We did end up scheduling something so stay tuned !

She is already over $200 for her next shelter !! Once she hits at least $500 she will deliver to the next shelter on her list !!

She did not post a menu item this week as we are having a VERY busy week. She does plan on making something and is leaning towards lemonade cupcakes , just need to perfect the receipe. I will announce tomorrow if we pull off the cupcakes !! If not this week, then next week !!

Brooke Marion is hard at work baking .... she completed 7 orders on Thursday and is trying to fill the other 18 in the next 2 days !!!! We may end up making 6-8 batches a day and then doing day of delivery/pick up so was can ensure they are fresh.

Thank you as always for you patience as this tiny human is working her tail off ( see what I did there ) to remain 100% from scratch and on her own ♡♡♡

I mean, that's CRAZY right ???? That's not the end of the story.... I emailed Steven swan to organize a time she could come up to donate ( they are closed to foot traffic and she would be devastated to not see ANY animals )

Not only are they going to make sure she gets to meet a dog or two, but they are bringing the Media into it. They are so moved by what our girl did they want to share it with the community.

From the bottom of our hearts we thank each and every one of you for helping her reach , and surpass her goals. They say it takes a village to raise a child.... I like to think we have the best village around !!!! THANK YOU

******lemon bars have in fact been pushed back to spring break, they are time consuming and are best fresh so she will make a few fresh batches each day to then deliver while she has no school. She wants to do then right, and wants them to be quality and we support that. They aren't an item she can rush through. They will soooo be worth the wait.******

Its FROSTING DAY !!!! That means orders will be ready to be picked up in about 2 hours !!!! She has a LOT of decorating to do lol, and she is determined to make all 120 cupcakes special. She made each of the reciepe from scratch, and the frosting .... No boxed mixes for her !!!!
