Simba, Snowflake, Mittens, Gummy, Snowberry, Princess, Kali, Luna, Luna, Ichigo, Jolene, Cedric, Meeko, Apollo, Smudge, Siggy, Merlin, Jane, Batman, Lola, Ferris, Wrenn, Briggs, Frieda, and 5 others I have yet to learn their names.

Jane the stray has been caught and fixed. Her kids and grand cats have homes.
They didn’t ask to be born but that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve a loving home.
I never thought during a pandemic, let alone college, I’d become a out of pocket funded animal shelter but I wouldn’t change a single thing for the world.

Please spay and neuter your pets to help control the pet population.

I’m happy to say It’s time to “retire”. I’ll still help with any other animals I come across.

Meeko, formally Theo, was the last one of a litter of 5 to find a home. He was adopted by Nelly when she fell in love with a different picture of him. I was starting to worry he wasn’t going to be adopted. Meeko has grown a ton since his adoption. In fact he’s only 4 months old! He gets along with his new sister very well. He is still very much a kitten and can be a little crazy at times. He was initially very shy but it seems all he needed was his new mom to get him out of his shell!

Cedric, formally “Zuul”, was adopted by Kerstin in July.
Cedric is a polydactyl male who loves to be as close to Kerstin as possible. He also likes to cry and demand she give him some of her food regardless of what she’s eating. Cedric lives with his mom, his feline (step) brother Luci, and two canine roommates.

Snowflake is a really shy girl (much more than the others) I can get a pet or two in while she eats. She backs away but that will change in time as she trusts people more. She is great with other cats. Snowflake has a ton of potential to be an inside cat if someone works with her. She is not vocal and most of her emotions are expressed in her eyes and face. She is smaller than the other cats as well.

Simba is very shy at first but after he warms up to you he’s a great guy. He’s very vocal. His favorite time to talk is at breakfast time when you go to feed him. He has recently warmed up to belly rubs but it takes a lot of trust to get to him. He gets along with other cats as well.

Hey, guys, as many of my friends will know my grandma loved cats and before she passed away she fed an abused stray female. This was nearly two years ago. There have been many cats in our neighborhood in need of homes, strays and newborns, I’ve spent a lot of time working with these animals to get them to the point where they are comfortable with me and could be rehomed. I’ve had terrible luck getting a shelter to take them so I’ve decided to create this page as a living document of the animals I have available. I’m not an animal shelter and I will never deny giving a cat to a shelter if one offers to take one. Until that happens I will use this page to help find homes for animals in my neighborhood and others. If you are looking for an animal I’ll see what I can find. If you are needing help rehoming an animal I will gladly help as well.
I’d love for page name suggestions as currently I want to find homes for the cats but I will gladly help rehome any type of animal.
