These aren’t little things at all! These small acts make a huge difference. 🥰 Thank you for showing me so much love and trusting me with your fur babies!

Urgent Notice for Pet Owners:

The microchip company Save This Life has gone out of business. As a result, any pet with a microchip registered with Save This Life will no longer have accessible owner information. This means that shelters, rescues, and veterinary offices will no longer be able to use Save This Life microchip registries to help reunite pets with their families.

If you are unsure whether you are affected, follow these steps:
1. Find Out if You’re Affected: If you don’t know which company your pet’s microchip is registered with, contact your vet as soon as possible. They can scan your pet’s chip and search for it in the AAHA Microchip Lookup database, which will show them which company the microchip is registered with.

2. If You’re Affected, Act Now: You never know when your pet may go missing, and microchips are the fastest way to reunite you with your pet. Contact a different microchip company as soon as possible to have your pet’s microchip number transferred to their registry. You’ll need your pet’s exact microchip number, which your vet can provide after a quick scan.

Here are two trusted, easy-to-use microchip registries to keep your pet safe:
• 24PetWatch: 866-597-2424
• HomeAgain: 888-466-3242

Highlights of the week with Mylo and Jetty! They enjoyed playing outside when the weather was nice. ☀️They tore the snowman toy into multiple pieces, and it made a great tug-of-war rope 🤣 Mylo would play tug-of-war with Jetty then play with me. 😃

🐾 ❤️ Keep Your Furry Valentines Safe This Valentine’s Day! ❤️ 🐾

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and love is in the air! While flowers are a beautiful way to show your affection, it’s important to remember that some popular blooms can be toxic to our beloved pets.

As a pet sitter, I want to ensure all my furry friends have a safe and happy Valentine’s Day. So, I’m sharing a friendly reminder about some common Valentine’s Day flowers that are dangerous for cats and dogs:

* Lilies: These elegant flowers are extremely toxic to cats, even a small amount of pollen can cause kidney failure.

* Tulips: These vibrant blooms contain toxins that can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and drooling in both cats and dogs.

* Chrysanthemums: These popular flowers can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and skin irritation in pets.

* Baby’s Breath: This delicate filler flower can cause vomiting and diarrhea if ingested.

* Carnations: These popular flowers can cause stomach issues and skin irritation for pets.

Instead of these potentially harmful flowers, consider these pet-friendly alternatives:

* Roses: While the thorns can be a concern, roses themselves are not toxic to pets.

* Sunflowers: These cheerful flowers are non-toxic and add a bright touch to any bouquet.

* Ge**er daisies: These fun flowers are non-toxic and come in a variety of colors.

* Orchids: These elegant flowers are generally safe for pets.

* Snapdragons: These unique flowers are non-toxic and look like wildflowers.

Here are some tips to keep your pets safe this Valentine’s Day:
* Keep all flowers out of reach of your pets.

* If you receive flowers, identify the types of flowers and research their toxicity.

* If you suspect your pet has ingested a toxic flower, contact your veterinarian immediately.

* For milder symptoms, you can call the ASPCA’s Animal Poison Control Hotline at 888-426-4435.

Let’s make this Valentine’s Day a safe and happy one for all our furry friends! ❤️
