My family had to buy a bigger travel crate. They have Chihuahua size and German Shepherd size. I am in between! So I was introduced to it… the cats are also crate trained and they tried to interfere by hogging the new crate. And then they added distractions by knocking things off counters.

Now I can go on car rides again.

Lazy Saturday mornings are our favorite in my host home. Although by lazy I mean about half an hour of fetch and then playing with the other dogs here for the next few hours.

Meeting my mama.

I was a singleton pup born via c-section. Then I was sent to be raised by a Leader Dogs for the Blind mama with a litter my age so I could learn from siblings.

So this is the first time I got to reunite with my mama, Blast. She is also an Elite Detection K9 dog. She was very sweet to me. As you see we didn’t sit still enough for a proper family portrait.

I went to a Christmas tree lighting last night where I met lots of people.

The high school drum line also played. So many sights and signs and I loved it all.

And there were moss of puppy treats!

Check cat off my socialization check list…

This cat has broken in many retired racing greyhounds during their transition to house dogs. So he comes on strong at first. If I play my cards right, he will be another playmate soon.

Until then we are supervised. Because he has claws. And I don’t quite know when to quit yet!
