Dr Cozy was recently interviewed by Tom Major on ABC Radio about veterinarians experiencing burnout during the pandemic!

Pandemic pets have been a real feature of the past year, with plenty of us picking up a dog or cat for companionship during lockdowns and travel restrictions.

But the results of the splurge on pets are having a damaging effect on the mental health of our vets, as people with pets, they can't afford or don't want to spend money or come to terms with the cost of veterinary care and sometimes take out their frustrations on medical professionals.

Dr Cozy is urging the industry to examine itself to find better ways to deal with the problem of vet burnout.
