Welcome to Woofs And Wags
I am the proud owner of Nerys Jones pet sitting services and would like to introduce everyone to my dog grooming page.
I'm looking to expand and emerge both business together. So that the dog grooming works alongside the pet sitting services.
I have been advised by so many different people that I am allowed to practice my dog grooming skills on any breed of dog. Weather it's a Yorkshire terrier to a springer spaniel.
I would like to gain more skills and knowledge and experience over the next couple of years. Is this something you maybe interested in?
Just to let everyone know I use natural based shampoo bars as well as using a natural conditioning spray and natural facial scrub too.
I would like to offer a friendly, relaxed, one to one services which is based in the clients home as this more comfortable and stress free environment for the dog to be in.
I have many certificates such as
Level 2 in Animal care
Level 3 in Animal Management
Basic skills in Dog Grooming
City and Guilds Level 2 in Dog Grooming
VTQ Canine First Aid Trained
I have grow up with dogs and have also worked alongside so many different breeds of dogs over the years. I am truly blessed to have met some lovely people and animals along the way and can't wait to met new clients and their animals in years to come. I really wouldn't change my job for the world. I absolute love my job.😊😍🐾
I have also had a keen interested in showing and grooming my own dogs for shows over the years. It could be any show from a small village companion dogs show to the biggest show in the world (Cruft's )and have also won many prizes with my dogs over the over the years too.
I have had a keen passion and interested for animals since an early age and especially had a passion for dogs dog grooming since I can remember.
I would like to offer my pet sitting services and dog grooming services to my friends, family and clients. Just to be aware this service is only provided to small to medium breeds of dogs.
I would just like to advise everybody that this service is provided in the clients home.
But would like to ask clients permission. when they first book an appointment with me.
Whether it is okay for me to bath their dog in the clients own bathing facilities as well as asking the clients permission on whether Its okay for me to use their water supply on that specific day today wash their poochies.
These services include a:
Pre health checks too be done before any treatments start.
Bath, blow dry and brush out
De-shedding and De-matting
Basic clipping
Basic sc******ng skills around face and feet
Ear cleaning
Ear plucking
Nail clipping and trimming of hair between the dogs pads.
I come with my own portable equipment as this is easier to transport.
