Cute PET QUALITY Black/Orange Tri buck, just 9 weeks. He was the runt of the litter, and he is tiny and fine b***d, total opposite of his littermates🙃 but he is super sweet and would be a wonderful companion as he runs up to you for loves.

Cute promising Black/Orange Tri buck, just 9 weeks. Super compact and typey. If I didn’t have 13 bucks already he would for sure be staying to grow out and show on our team. Reminds me so much of his sire Oculus, hoping he goes to a tri program that will continue to work towards high quality show tris!

Orange, Buck, 12 weeks.

He is in the midst of his uglies and still looks like he belongs on a show table. I LOVE his chest width and depth, he is so soild, and still has a nice small spoon shaped ear. His head and crown needs to pop still, but if we weren’t having a baby, this buck would be on our show team. He is littermates to the Harlequin buck I just posted.

Looking to hop!

Harlequin, Buck, 12 weeks.

He is in the midst of his uglies and still looks like he needs to be a herd buck for a tri program. I love his big head and bone. His crown is slipped, but being he is so young I think once his head pops more it should inprove to look more like his sire & dams. I love his rufus and how much black he has, very well distributed.

Our newest human baby is much past due date, so I decided to pass time waiting on babies arrival and take pics today of all the Buck Kits (all from my tri lines) that need new hay to hop in!

I will post them all tomorrow at 9am. 🐰

Being a buck hoarder has it’s downfall because I pretty well always find myself using my faithful tri buck, RLR Oculus everytime I go to breed something from my tri lines. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have so many others tri bucks just hanging out on the bottom row waiting to prove themselves but branching away from Oculus doesn’t happen often enough.

This dude has been the only Harlequin buck, and only Oculus son I have ever kept to grow out, and I am sure happy I did! He is a Kozy Lanes Doodle litter mate brother, and I finally branched out and used him on a first time momma and his kits are outstanding. Some of the most promising tri line babies to date. I had not even given this dude a name or taken a picture of him until today, and he is almost a year old already.🙃

So I guess I shall introduce our Harlequin herd buck, this is Kozy Lane Doc Ock

Excited to breed more to him soon as he has more bone and mass than his dad, and the tris always seem to need a little more shot of bone than our tort lines.

Have not had time for the buns lately, as we were in our busiest cattle season of the year, but today is a drizzily cool morning, so it was perfect to pull some of the young seniors out to see how much they have changed.

This is LJ’s Irish, blue/cream tri buck. His lines are straight Realm of Lapine, I had the opportunity to get him from LJ Hollands as a 8week old kit. He has matured very well. I really like pieces of him, his crown definition is lovely, but his crown is tight. Hoping to get a few successful litters out of him before too long.

I pictured this stunning cream buck back in 2023 for our friends at Spruce Hills Rabbitry when he was just a little guy (pic below👇🏻) and I remember being in love with him then, and hoping one day to be able to add his genetics to our herd to help with our crowns. He is even more impressive as a senior, and has done an incredible job producing for Spruce Hills.

The very last thing we need is more bucks as I have a buck hoarding problem🤦🏻‍♀️, but how could I pass up on a cream like this that will be fantastic in my tri program and useful with my torts?! Thanks to Ashley and Spruce Hills for sharing that execptional HEC you all are known for, that was my goal for this year to improve and I think we may have found the buck to help with that.🙌🏻🙌🏻

Cole’s C172R, 2 year, Proven Doe, she has great lines and carries REW.

Lines include Phoenix, ANR, Sweet Tooth and Cammack’s.

I really like this doe, but I feel like she would benefit someone working on Shaded/REW’s better than my tort program as I no longer breed for REW’s.

Junior Doe, 4.5months, Blue Tort, likely a False Dwarf.

I have been growing this big doe out as she carries tri on her moms side. We have kept back 6 other junior tri does, so I have decided to let this big girl go. She is in the midst of her uglies, once she grows into her ears I think she will be a nice brood doe.
