Thank you Singing River Equine Rescue, Inc. for donating over 20 bales of hay for our animals! Hay is one of our biggest expenses in the winter, so this helps us out so much!

🐴 Roxie had a big day today! She got some much needed time with a farrier and she was in bad need of some tlc for her hooves.

She showed signs of white line disease. One hoof had to be debrided and will have to be treated daily for quite a while. This has been something she has likely been dealing with for a long time, unfortunately. I’m so grateful she was able to get proper treatment today and is on the path to being a healthy horse!

It’s been a winter wonderland here this week…and as pretty as it is, we can’t wait for the warmer temps to get here!

I wanted to share some of our favorite photos of Randy 💙

Randy was full of personality and always the first in line to check out something new or the first to eat, and he loved to just be goofy. His brother, Ralphie was his best buddy. He will for sure be missed here

Early this morning, we lost one of our longtime residents of FBF and one of the goofiest goats. Randy has been here with his brother, Ralphie for 7 years.

Randy appeared to have bloated yesterday and quickly became very sick. Despite desperate efforts to save him, he passed away this morning. We are all going to miss him so much, but especially his brother. 😢

We are having him cremated today. If you would like to donate in Randy’s honor for $5 Friday, we would be grateful. ❤️

COURTESY POST: Winston is a 4 year old neutered male mini pig in Fayette, AL.

He is in urgent need of a new home. His family is relocating and unable to take him to their new home. They are willing to transport him within the state to the right home.

Winston has been an indoor/outdoor pig and is good around dogs, but of course, all pigs should be supervised when with dogs.
He has also been around donkeys and horses.

Gretchen regularly stays on the schedule and she doesn’t seem to mind her pedicures at all ☺️

The pigs haven’t ventured far from their barns this week and I can’t say I blame them one bit! 🥶
Breaking ice, keeping water available and keeping the animals as warm as possible, has been the priority. So if our social media posts have been lacking, just know that it’s because we’re spending all of our time taking care of all the babies here 🐷 🐐 🐑 🫏 🐴

🐖🐐 $5 FRIDAY Food Fundraiser! 🫏🐑

We haven’t had a $5 Friday in a while and donations are very low at the moment. We need to stock up on food today, as well as more wheat straw. If you could spare a little to help us out, that would be great!
Costs for animal care go up in the winter due to the need for straw bedding and hay bales. We have gone through over 40 bales of straw in the past month!
