V2 at the 2024 New England Regional conformation show today under SV Judge Robert Lang!
This is the 7th time (out of 7 shows we have entered) that he has received a V rating, from 6 different judges.

Meet Andarna, a Ludo daughter that is here to be raised in the Momo’s School for Feral Puppies. I was adamant about not having a puppy for quite some time and visited the litter just wanting to see what Ludo’s puppies were like, but life has its own way sometimes.

This is not our breeding, but Ludo bred a female last month and she was confirmed pregnant today! We are so excited to see these pups mature, due on Valentine’s Day 🩷

So thankful to have a best friend who has access to so much land. Swarley got to run off leash and explore for the first time since December 2022 yesterday. He has another surgery coming up in a couple of weeks and I wanted to let him stretch his legs and have a fun time beforehand. Thank you so much

Mika is still with us, but is in the process of being acclimated to her potential new family- 2 humans and 3 dogs, until she gets spayed in a couple of weeks. This family is a terrific match with a lot of land to explore and many outdoor adventures and we know that she could not be going to a better home. That being said, I still hate to see her go. I love this dog more than I can tell you. She has brought me so much joy in the last nearly 3 years. She is sweet and funny and charming. Having her not suited to my breeding program broke my heart into so many pieces. But I am so so so thankful to have found this family for her. Not only is it a good match, I actually very much enjoy the human and am grateful to have met her in general. Life doesn’t always work out the way you want or plan, but it does have a way of making sense in the end.

GEB Quiz tried on a new outfit today, quite dashing if you ask me but I’m a sucker for teal, and was completely un-phased which is ideal for a future guide dog. He played with his toys and then fell asleep like nothing was different 👍🏻

This is GEB (Guiding Eyes for the Blind) Quiz. I will be raising him until he is about 6 months old and then he will move on to another raiser until he is ready for formal training. He will be 9 weeks tomorrow, I hope you’re all ready for Labrador puppy spam 😊

Ludo and I took about a 6 month break from therapy dog work while I worked on building my boarding kennel business this spring/summer. Today we went to SUNY Albany for the Employee Assistance Program and Ludo was very happy to get pets from dozens of students and faculty.

This is a post I don’t want to make, and I would appreciate everyone respecting my privacy on this and only asking questions relevant to finding the perfect home for her.

Mika is up for rehoming. She will be spayed after this heat before she gets placed, so she will not be ready to go to her new home for a couple of months. She would do best in an active pet home. She loves playing with other dogs. She loves cuddling with her person. She settles in the house but is ready to go go go when she is outside. She needs active outlets such as hiking, swimming, walks, playing ball, etc., but not serious work. Mika is honestly so sweet and has such a loving and funny personality. I am looking for the best possible home for her. Please feel free to share. New home should be German Shepherd or at least dog savvy. This is not a dog who can be a couch potato even though she settles while inside.

The Brown Dog Canine Care is opening soon near Clifton Park NY!

The Brown Dog is owned and operated by Morgan, who has over 10 years of professional dog training and caretaking experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science.

We will be offering overnight dog boarding reservations beginning Thursday 7/27, with add ons during boarding available such as exit baths, extra playtime, walks, and other enrichment activities!

Our facility consists of indoor/outdoor kennel runs.
We are currently under renovations, but once those are complete we will be available for tours of the facility upon request!
We will also be planning an open house before our grand opening so check back for updates on that!

V5 at the Universal show

Ludo has been V rated 5 times now out of the 5 times he has showed, 4 times of those by SV judges, 1 of those times at the US Sieger Show in 2022. Ludo’s conformation is without question very correct (and if you ask me, very handsome 😉)
