Setting pets up for failure ⭐️ We have all done it, pets are the light of our life and also a pain in the behind sometimes, if you own a pet you have 100% said ‘oh for **** sake (enter pets name here)’. It’s something we have all done, left something we shouldn’t have within reach, left them in the room whilst we are eating before teaching food boundaries or not following our own rules when it comes to greeting whilst trying to teach them not to jump. This is your reminder to look around before you leave your pup in a room, schedule in a command training session once a week and do some scent work a bit more often to wear them out mentally! It’s worth it to keep those shoes in tact!

Cat cover 🐈‍⬛ Cats are wonderfully independent (unless it’s 4am and they want feeding of course) meaning it is easier to leave them but the bare necessities still need to be completed such as food, fresh water, toileting needs and of course, the all important cuddles & play! If you are planning a weekend/holiday away and your wondering what to do with regards to your tiny lions then let me help! I can cover all of the basics including letting them in/out or locking cat flaps etc along with more complicated tasks such as medication administering or complicated feeding routines!

I have one slot left for Monday - Friday group walk at 7.30am for £5 per day!! If you would like your pup to be walked on one or all of these days then please let me know! It’s 45 mins to an hour in an off lead area (your dog doesn’t have to be recall trained, they can stay on long line or extendable if needed) where there is lots to sniff & explore & other dogs there who love to play!

A Sunday well spent brings a week of content... I'm not suggesting you do a full 0 calorie meal prep for the next 5 days and meditate your way into Monday but I am suggesting you make sure your dog walking bag (yes I suggest you have a separate one & here is why) is fully stocked with everything you need for your walks this week! Mine consists of high value treats - usually something smelly, earphones and poo bags. A two second task that makes you feel a little more prepared for Monday!

It's finally the weekend!! If you are planning any day trips but your feeling a little bit guilty for leaving your fluffy friends all day then we can book in a check in for you where we provide fresh water, have a play, let them out for a wee & have a cuddle. You'll even get a cute picture of your pet with an update on how they are to put your mind at ease!

The tiniest employee who is paid in teething toys (that never get used) and milk is 5 moths old today. I didn't know how dog ownership would go post baby but this dream boy is so easy that I decided to launch a business alongside becoming a mama.

Now I have introduced myself, I should introduce our mascot Atlas! He is an 18 month old Cocker Spaniel with heaps of energy and even more love to give. Although he can play all day & he does with our clients out on walks, you can often find him curled up on the sofa next to me.

I'm Court & I am the doggy dates lady. As someone who has always owned and adored dogs, the ideal day for me is spending it surrounded by your fluffy friends. Whilst I have been on maternity leave I have been asked by friends to check in on their pets, spend a couple of hours with their pets and have their pets at mine whilst they navigate trying to be the best dog owner and the demands of working, it's no easy task. So I thought I would offer my services locally to the people of Thrapston so put quite simply, Courts Doggy Dates is here to help you navigate having a pet and a life at the same time, whether that is a check in, a walk or holiday cover, or a combination of the three. I am here to make your life easier.
