Hi friends, I have some sad news. Unfortunately none of the babies made it. I will be researching more and trying again in likely January. These things unfortunately happen. I’m unsure if it was weak genetics, or something I did. Or a mixture of both. Like I said, I will do more research and hopefully have better luck next time around.

We have 139 full bellies! Out of 140 eggs only one didn’t hatch 😱

We had 38 hatch yesterday and 48 today!! Shout out to Lisa Fitch Lambert for taking great care of these babies and sending me updates while I enjoy vacation for the week. I hate that I’m not there to see them hatch tho 🥲

Hi friends! I accidentally bred my axolotls not knowing one of them was female. In about a month or 2 (as long as everyone survives) I will have around 140 babies up for grabs! Message me on this page if interested. Here is their progress so far :)
