Reduce, rescue and rehome - Bush Dogs are numerous in FNQ for many reasons. Lyn with community help is trying to reduce the numbers of dogs by rescuing them from remote locations, getting them veterinary (including desexing) attention, fostering and rehabilitation in hopes to rehome for a brighter future. This rescue operation came about as the number of Bush Dogs has increased, thes

e dogs are not 'feral' - the majority are approachable. The dogs are usually in very poor condition, many animals unfortunately die due to starvation and malnutrition due to parasites (worms, fleas, ticks and mites). This page is to follow the progress of dogs/cats/horses, share the journey and support the ongoing and often heartbreaking work Lyn is doing.
