It was a big day I'm exhausted...
This boney little female puppy was gifted to me today she is so so sweet ...there are morel puppy's at the house I'll be going back to worm them all and give them some flea o prevention and talk to the owner about desexing the mum dog....I came close to being bitten by those mongrel dogs today !!in Schriber street ...I went to see animal management before this to talk about being bitten last week but the person I wanted to talk to was busy....one of his of siders was there and told me they had picked that pack of dogs up ..I was so relieved and thanked him...it wasnt long after speaking with him I went out to talk to someone else in that street about this pup pictured and I was about to get wormer and tick prevention out when again those dam dogs came flying at me ...they all weren't picked up at all the vicious grey dog is still dam there that could have ended up a very dangerous mess if that mongrel dog could have got to me.... apparently the council only took 2 that attacked last week...what's the point leaving one of the dogs that actually bite still there.anyway I'm home exhausted I had so many more things to do but I've run out of energy.....yes it was a big day ........... ..

Hi I'd like to thank the foster carers and all those that made the day happen at Bunnings ...and of coarse Bunnings for having us ...I was so busy talking I didn't get many pictures...Sarah is pictured with foster fail Bush Dog LOUIE......it's always great to see them Sarah has help a lot of rescue groups over the years and LOUIE was one of the lucky pups that ended up being Sarah and Husband's forever dog ❤️... unfortunately there was only a couple of expressions of interest...all rescue groups are flooded with dogs and puppies all beautiful all looking for that loving home...so we will just wait the right person will come along for that special dog or puppy.....thankyou all that bought raffle tickets all monies going to vet expenses and the care of so many ...... thankyou Friends of Bush pups for all the work you women put into everything 🌷

I was sent this picture tonight I have edited it ...I've known this poor dog for a while she was a happy dog always came running up to me for a cuddle....a pack of dogs killed her I wish I hadn't of seen the unedited picture the complete side of her neck was ripped out what an absolutely horrific way to die ...it's one thing to see a dog just relaxing on the front of their house in the sun I love seeing the old dogs soaking up the sun ...then you see the roaming packs just looking for a sole dog to kill ....I love dogs but I do not have love in my heart for savage dogs that want nothing more than to hunt you down and savage you and that is exactly what happened to me last week by the pack in Scriber street Djengi...they were roaming again today in their pack I just don't understand why animal management allows this to continue.....

Sometimes I think do I need to share particular posts on the atrocities that take place out bush ...and a lot of the time I don't share the sadness and madness...it was a terrible day today I was contacted by the owner of this poor dog asking for help...the young first time mumma dog was whipped across her face with a bullwhip which sliced one of her eyes the remaining eye although tested is unknown of the damage... apparently the owner knows who did this and I'd really like that to be shared with me not that RSPCA have been any help over the last few years but maybe the woman that did attend a discusting case years ago has moved on with any luck as she did nothing ..this discusting act of cruelty HAS to be looked into by whoever can charge the person unfortunately this poor girl had approx 10 pups newborn when this happened the owner said she stopped feeding she must have been in agony...8 out of 10 puppies died ...I put the 2 surviving puppies in the cage with thier mum to go to the vet ..they are in terrible condition I feel they won't make it they went without food for so long ...the owner said he tried to give them milk but they are far from lapping and normal milk would have caused kaos ..,mum dog was given pain relief as soon as I got to the vet so therefore puppy's can't drink from mum ...ahhh thankgod one of the nurses has taken them home to do 2 hourly bottle feeds I'm so very grateful...the owner did ask for a report so he can take it to council...I sent them a copy of the quote to operate to remove her eye but I feel she has to big a battle ahead to go through all that and be blind in the other eye I'll speak with the owner tomorrow...Bush Dogs has already spent approx $300 for testing the guy owner doesn't have any money I cannot pay anymore the operation is in the thousands...I hope her sees common sense and lets her go to forever sleep...it was a horrible day ...then I got a picture tonight of a dog I care for out bush she was set upon by a pack of dogs they killed her ....the whole side of her throat is gone I feel so sick ... meanwhile nothing is being done about these packs the dogs that attacked me and bit me are still running the streets fighting ..I do not understand how this can legally be happening I have a hospital report that was emailed to the CEO by the hospital....a police report made at yarrabah police station the officer said the Mayor would receive the report the next-day along with other matters ...yet still that pack are rushing people and ripping other dogs to pieces ...my mind is so overloaded....at least mum dog has pain relief tonight ......better get some sleep before another big day ahead....

We received a fantastic package of dog coats today from Bush Dogs & Pups all the way from far North Queensland .

These bundle of coats will keep our Southern hounds snuggly and warm especially over the coming days of the single figure temps that are forecast down this way.

Please give this amazing group a like and lots of shares and please consider a donation to assist their work. They save and rehabilitate lots of abandoned and homeless dogs in remote areas and give the dogs in their care a fabulous future . 4years ago ... beautiful old Ernie after all the ticks were removed and a long warm bath ...he slept for days cuddled up in his blanket...I'm grateful I could take care of him in his final months of life ❤️

I'd just like to say thankyou to Marg for driving all the way from the northern beaches to help me and Bush Dogs supporter Cher and her daughter for helping fold the endless bags of sheets..towels and bathmats if it wasn't for your help I'd still be there ..my arms were getting sore some of the sheets were like parachutes hahaha...mumma dogs have got clean sheets to lay on with their litters I change them everytime I go out ...it does help keep the ticks and fleas of the tiny puppies....there are so many litters out bush at the moment I'm using so much Drontol liquid puppy suspension wormer I use that at 2 and 4 weeks it makes a big difference to their health ....time for a siesta ...

Ah I meant to put this post up today! HELP WANTED SATURDAY FROM 11AM .....60 SUPPLY ROAD BENTLEY PARK...... Lovely Kirsty and Kody recently donated loads and loads of linen and towels to the Bush Dogs...I currently have it stored in our storage shed and it needs to be sorted and folded...if anyone has a spare hour or so even half an hour to help fold I'll be at the shed from 11am Big Blue on the right hand side it's a security complex so a txt or call to my number I'll come open the gates....any help would be appreciated 😊🌷0429874593......lyn

I went out bush today to pick up 2 dogs for desexing ...I called into Animal management to discuss what they had done about the dog attack on Monday and to discuss what happened on the day but no-one was available.....I spoke with one of the women from the family that own the dogs ...they don't intend on getting rid of the dogs instead telling the council they want new higher fencing to keep their 5 dogs in ...I've known the family for years helping them many times desexing feeding etc etc ..but stopped about a year ago it was getting to much so many litters ...since the dogs have become savage I don't help people's animals in the area ...I asked why she thinks the dogs have become so savage and she said it's because of the local kids stirring them up running sticks along the fences and hitting them with shang highs (rocks) so those kids are very lucky the dogs haven't caught them ....but as I said to her there is no reason for the dogs to turn on me and bite I've never hit them ...she explained they killed 2 dogs not 4 that I don't understand why are they going to neighbours property killing dogs ....none of it I understand....I asked how can this all be sorted it's so dangerous she (I won't use her name) said she'd chain them when I'm out there ...but thinking about that I wouldn't trust chains....it's just not worth the risk ....it's so dam disheartening that not one of the owners apologised to me for their dogs bitting me .....and animal management not doing anything about savage dogs bitting people... killing dogs chasing people I truely do not understand how all this can be ignored ...I personally have taken it quite serious being bitten irrelevant of what authorities in Yarrabah are thinking I will be taking this further when I had the wound cleaned out at the yarrabah hospital the doctors said they would be happy to assist me if needed ...(Legally)..... anyway today was a big day I'm happy to say another 2 dogs will go home out bush desexed....time for sleep!!! I was given an adorable girl am staff 6 weeks old in exchange for a lot of food and desexing mum dog later on ..mum dog is also adorable 😍

It has been a bad day ..approx 9 years I've been going bush helping the dogs and very very rarely have I felt in danger from the dogs ..BUT there is a pack of 5 vicious dogs that roam the streets of Djengi an outer suburb of Yarrabah...I have been rushed by them several times and thankfully I've either made it to my vehicle or some of the men pick up big sticks and rocks to get rid of them thankgod for the guys that have helped over the past year ..this pack from Schreiber street Djengi are well known to residents as dangerous....well today I wasn't fast enough getting into my truck ..I walked out of a property down the other end of scriber street when they came flying around the corner...I was rushing to get my door lock open I got half way in the truck and one of them grabbed me by the ankle he wasn't going to let go until someone yelled...the vicious mongrel let go thankgod...I have spoken with these dogs owners many times about them chasing me trying to attack me ...I have spoken with one of the animal management personal as he was there to witness them about 6 months ago he said he doesn't handle dogs anymore he does housing and every time I went to see animal management they were out on jobs ...I should have emailed...but never the less council does know about this pack and has chosen to do nothing about them ..they have killed 4 dogs in Schreiber street over the last 6 months....one old dog Soldier was a small dog in his own yard they came in and ripped him to pieces he died straight away ... unfortunately for the female dog across the road also in her own yard the attacked her so badly I arrived not long after this and rushed her to the vet but her injuries were to servere and she was put to sleep ...I have 2 puncture wounds in my ankle I went straight to yarrabah hospital where I was taken straight in and the wound cleaned out I was there for quiet a while I felt so sick ...my ankle is swollen and very sore nurse didn't stitch it as they don't want bacteria trapped in the puncture holes....I will say now there was no food involved with this attack ...I'd gone to a womans house to drop.of some worming for her puppy ....these dogs don't need an excuse to attack they just do ....they are totally out of control and they must be stopped ...I'm not letting this incident get brushed away irrelevant if the owner is related to council ....the hospital emailed a dog attack report to council ...I'd like to thank the guy that helped me also the staff at Yarrabah hospital for your professional approach and compassion when I was a bit shaken up.....and all the people I was supposed to contact today I'll pH tomorrow....BULL ARAB rescue I'll pH in the morning.......
