Pretty happy with how this beautiful 4yr old is filling out. We brought her as a young 2yr old. She is by ES Centavos (Qunto’s half sister) out of an Anamour mare.

Angel has had a successful couple of weekends with her Team.
Amberley A&P show:
Qunto placed🥈 in the 1.20m.
Domino was🥇in both the 105cm and 1.10m, being the only pony at the show jumping that height.

South Canterbury A&P Show:
Qunto was🥇in the Junior Amateur class (1.10-1.20m) and🥇in the 1.20m class.
Domino was 5th in the 110m and🥉in their 1m class.

Also didn’t get pics, but she also rode little Nugget at both shows and he was placed in 4 of his rounds.

After recently selling Max, Flick and Toby, we are now down to 4 horses. Today we finally had time to bring 4yr Evie back into work, who has been out on a 6 month break, after being started in January.

Massive weekend at Springston Trophy in Rangiora!
At the beginning of the week, we were certain that Angel wouldn’t be competing due to Qunto being lame and Toby not fit enough at 105cm. But thanks to our super hero farrier - Wayne Smart for coming out repetitively to have her sound for us on Friday morning in time for Dressage.
Angel and Qunto jumped double clear and finished as a Senior - 4th individually in their class.
So proud of them given that at the start of the season Qunto had only ever done 1 Event and Angel had mostly Evented her previous ponies at 80cm’s. At 14yrs, Angel is young enough to ride as a Junior.
Our West Melton Weedons Team were phenomenal placing 2nd overall. We had a spectacular coach - Lucy Turner and a diligent Manager - Rose Trolove. We definitely couldn’t have done it without the amazing help. 🙏

Change of code today!
Angel was lucky enough to be given the ride on her friend (Sam’s) pony (Tommy) at Interschools Mounted Games. She had so much fun with her partner from Motueka, they won the B final!

Flick having a little jump today, she hasn’t had a lot of attention lately, especially with Angel being on the Young rider Camp since Thursday!

Our favourite little pony - Max, went to his new home today. His new rider (Sienna) is gutsy and likes to jump as much as Max does. Sienna lives down the road and goes to the same pc, so we will get to see Max heaps……thank goodness!
