Making the decision to train your dog can feel like a rollercoaster 🎢

But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the ride knowing the process will never be linear.

Dogs are not robots, nor do we expect them to be (even after training). The best trained dogs in the world still make mistakes- and to put that kind of expectation on your dog just isn’t really fair.

Are YOU perfect? Do YOU make mistakes? Do you have bad days? Silly to think our dogs are any different!

Dog training will have its ups and downs, but when you take a step back and look at things in the big picture/long term, you’ll realize you’re actually fu***ng crushing it.

Don’t beat yourself up or be too hard on yourself. Or your dog.

The rollercoaster of rehab is real. Even we are not exempt from it.

We have daily struggles and sometimes it feels like “Groundhog Day” with some of the more anxious/fearful dogs.

But the cool thing is, we’ve done successfully it enough times to know that persistence and consistency always come out on top.

That’s another reason why we decided to film an ENTIRE board and train with a nervous/fearful dog. We want to show the process in its entirety. The ups and downs. The successes and the set backs.

We want you to see that you can get the same results we do, when you have the right methods to follow.

Hello, and welcome to Better Built K-9. My Name is Brent and I have been training dogs for 10+ years. It all started with my rescue dog Zuko and the rest is history. The clients I have had, have all been through word of mouth. Now we are starting a new chapter with social media in a new area.

We will be offering a few types of services depending on your needs. From one on one in person training, to video conference training/refreshers or updates as well as structured dog walking. We use various tools and methods to get rid of your dogs anxiety, as well as any other issues your dog may have. This way you and your companion can live your best life together now.
