I hatched my first ever crested gecko!!!
A bit earlier than I expected, but seems a healthy 2 grams and can go from 0-100 in about a second sooo I’m gonna take that as a good sign 😅
This one is out of oskan(dark base harlequin Dalmatian het axanthic) x Camilla(lavender tricolor harlequin)

Day 60 and got my first pip! I’ve been super excited about this pairing, Astarael(coral snow) x Ranna (charcoal plasma poss het amel and anery)
I’ve been hoping to prove out Ranna for Anery and/or Amel, and…. That little nose looks promising for anery! Now just to wait till it comes all the way out, and then maybe some more waiting till it sheds…

Beautiful clutch this morning from my cornsnake Astarael! Total 17 healthy eggs, no slugs.
Coral snow x charcoal plasma poss het amel and anery, I’ve been looking forward to this clutch, can’t wait to see what they hatch out as!

Lavender soap
This is a lovely bar with a smooth, creamy lather. I love the smell of lavender and it is a relaxing and uplifting smell. This bar also includes Alkanet Root Powder which gives it its color and also provides a very mild exfoliating effect.

And the newest soap available: Astarael’s Rose and Jasmine soap. One of my goals with my soap making adventure, is to make snake-shed soaps personalized to the snake who’s shed I used. This decidedly floral soap is my first attemp at Astaraels soap. It is a gentle soap worth a nice creamy lather. Snake shed in soap has a host of benefits that all go back to the high level of keratin in the shed. It gives soap a smooth, silky feel while moisturizing, helping to unclog and tighten pores, helps remove impurities, and helps to reduce breakouts. The shed is dissolved in the lye water and then strained before adding to the oil mixture so their are no chunks of shed in the soap. The lye as well as high temperatures involved in the soap making process also kill any bacteria(such as salmonella) that could be on the snake shed. Also snakes naturally shed their skin and so no snakes are harmed in the making of my snake shed soaps. Any soap that contains snake shed will be labeled as such, and I have plenty of soap options that are not made with snake shed for those who prefer to avoid snake shed in soap.

Lavender and Sandalwood Snake Shed Soap!
I know, I know, snake shed in soap sounds rather bogus… But the shed is dissolved and then strained so their are no pieces of shed left to in the soap, and snake shed is high in keratin making this a nutrient-rich soap with a silky smooth feel to it. This is a gentle soap bar, and I chose Lavender and Sandalwood for being essential oils that tend to be gentle for sensitive skin.

Tea tree and lemon soap! These bars came out looking very cool, and lemon and tea tree essential oil pair to make a nice refreshingly clean scent. The activated charcoal, turmeric, and nettle leaf powder used for the coloring are all nutritious for your skin, and the activated charcoal and tea tree oil are good at fighting acne.

Cocoa-mint soap, it smells amazing! Just don’t get it confused for peppermint fudge, despite the cocoa powder for the rich coloring, I don’t believe it would taste good! 😂. In addition to the lovely smell, it feels wonderful on your skin!

I spent the weekend at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot, ND. Overall it was a fun weekend and I was pleased with how this cute little doe, LittleBird’s Raspberry Berret, did on her first outing. She came home with two BOBs and one BOS. Congratulations to all the other exhibitors! Lots of nice rabbits at the show.

I’ve been waiting impatiently for this girl to drop her eggs! Started yesterday evening, grand total this AM was 18 eggs, only 9 good eggs this year, the other 9 are ‘slugs’. Expecting some little pink angry noodles in 2-3 months!
Mirael , like most women, was not appreciative of being weighed today 😂
