Luck seems to be on my side this week, despite the extreme cold I had a singleton kit born in the 13th(LittleBird’s Raspberry Beret x LittleBird’s Duke of Earl) which is still doing well and today a litter of three born alive and well(LittleBird’s GoldFinger x LittleBird’s Clove). Since it’s so cold I’ve been bringing the nest boxes inside and taking them out morning and evening to nurse(rabbits generally only nurse once or twice a day around dawn and dusk)

A couple young senior bucks I’m looking forward to growing out some more.
First up is LittleBird’s Clyde- Squirrel sr buck. He likes to pose himself, gets impatient when people try to show him how to pose… We’re going to work on this… but he came away with a BOS today so going in the right direction!
Second up is LittleBird’s Peregrin Took, AKA ‘Pip’, he’s a chocolate chin sr buck who’s growing out nicely just needs to fill out some more. He got a BOG today and at the show last night, and I’m looking forward to seeing how he does at future shows!

I went to the show in new salem today and overall it was a lovely show and also proved quite productive for my rabbits!
LittleBird’s GoldFinger, broken chestnut sr buck, came away with one BOB and two BOG legs.
LittleBird’s Odessa(chestnut Jr doe) came away with one BOB leg and one BOS leg.
LittleBird’s Clove(chestnut sr doe) came away with one BOS leg.
LittleBird’s The Importance of Being Ernest also came away with a BOG leg.

This last week took the bullsnakes out for some natural light photos, I’m not sure how many pairings I’m going to do next year with the reptiles, but there is a very good chance next year will be my first time pairing these two!
