I just had to share this picture of Goose and Maverick. I guess all the reading they did made them tired, but they look so peaceful and relaxed. It's amazing how much joy a simple picture can bring, and this one is definitely a keeper.

I wanted to share what someone wrote me about a kitten she got from me a few years back and a retired adult she got from Neta Cox’s cattery, Channelaire, after Neta passed away.

Hi Bonnie, I need to share with you what Nimbus and Lacey did, and how your work as a Tonkinese breeder has made such a positive difference. We have a friend of a friend who had a serious stroke about 3 weeks ago. Judi, who is a friend of Sue, the woman who had the stroke, asked us to bring the kitties to the rehabilitation center where she is staying. When we arrived there yesterday, Sue had been doing nothing but sleeping for 2 days. When she awoke, and saw Lacey, she broke into a smile from ear to ear. As of yesterday, she didn't seem able to speak, and didn't say anything, and plus I believe she was having some difficulty with her right hand. However, I could tell that she understood and comprehended everything that we said. She loved the story of a little girl at the store wearing a crown, who jumped up and down with delight when she saw the photo of Lacey with a crown on. Nimbus was cranky, but I think that just added some comedy to a serious situation. Actually, as always, he was gentle and Sue enjoyed petting him, and he actually laid against her on the bed. Sue really loved the Team Nimbus tote bag that we had, and kept reaching up for it. Anyway, my understanding was that this was the happiest she had been for some time. Fast forward one day. Jude and I had an extra Team Nimbus tote bag. We decided to just drop it off at the rehab center for her. We didn't have the cats with us, but she lit up when she saw us come in the room. She actually was able to say several words, and she said "I remember" but then couldn't think of the word she wanted. But this is a huge improvement - when we saw her yesterday, she hardly uttered any sound. She also gestured with both hands. Jude and I were so amazed. I told Sue that I could see she seemed better even since yesterday and I promised her that once I figure out how to get out of jury duty, we would be back with the kitties. She actually waved goodbye to us. All the way home jude and I talked about the improvement. I can only attribute it to Nimbus and Lacey giving her something to look forward to and getting her spirits up. I then came home and told Nimbus and Lacey that they are miracle workers. Jude and I thank you, and are so grateful to you , for bringing such wonderful souls into the world. and I'm sure all the people who have met the kitties would thank you as well!

Lucy’s kittens are starting that really cute stage. She’s such a great mom but if she’s going to wash them, I’d wish she’d concentrate on the stains from the naval dip😂. In the beginning. I use that to tell them apart but a couple of those spots are accidental. Don’t worry, they’ll be gone by the time they are ready to go to their new homes
