I’m gonna run a contest on this, first one to guess the correct temperature reading on this thermometer wins a medical guide. I’ll run this till Monday.

Happy official 10 th Birthday to Vengeance and Vice. It’s hard to believe you guys are 10. Not really slowing down much especially Vice the giant boy . Vengeance does have his collapsed front feet which give him a hard time sometimes . These two guys have been with me through thick and thin. Thank you always to Konnie for breeding these super dogs who can and HAVE done it ALL!

Jerry Lee is a 5 year old German Shepherd multipurpose K9 who was injured in the line of duty on 4/18/2021. Jerry Lee and his handler were helping track a suspect in a neighboring county when they came under fire and Jerry sustained a gunshot wound to his upper leg. The amazing doctors at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital saved his leg, but unfortunately Jerry Lee will now have to retire. He is such a good boy and is loved so much by his family, who he will live with forever. We will be posting regular updates on Jerry Lee's recovery so everyone who has shown him so much love and support can stay informed.

Give some love and positivity to Lynnea Gillett as she is losing her best friend.

"Jindi does have cancer. She has hermangiosarcoma in her heart. There is a tumor in her heart that bleeds, filling up the sac around her heart and causing heart failure. The fluid has been drained from around her heart twice now, and she’s on meds to help form clots and prevent bleeding from that tumor, as well as some stuff that’s supposed to help slow down the progress of cancer. The reality is that the tumor will bleed again, probably sooner rather than later. We have somewhere between a couple days and a couple weeks left. I won’t ask her to suffer through having her heart constricted again, or spend more days at the vet, or put her through a procedure that does nothing but buy time, when that time will eventually bring more misery.

Jindi is much more than just my dog. She is my best friend, my partner, my protector, my right hand, my left hand, my ride or die, and everything that keeps me grounded and stable. She is with me every hour of every day, and I can’t imagine how I could live without her. I’m terrified even thinking about it. Someday soon, I will have to make a decision for her, that will absolutely break my heart. Til then, I will be grateful for every moment that we have."

My happy boy came to work with me today. Retired BMWD Kidd, 11 years old acts like he’s 2 still. It took 4 months to get him use to civilian life. He can be around any animal and person now. Love and time heals and teaches no matter the age❤️ (also 1 or two come to Jesus meetings along the way) Meaniest grumpiest old man to a sweet young pup again❤️
