to the Yellowstone Litter!

1 year ago,(yesterday) we woke up to puppies being born and it was a wild ride! They were born on our Maverick's birthday so our birthday trip/plans shifted so this year we unplugged and let him have the spotlight ;)

I'm Thankful for the experience. We learned a lot and loved seeing all their unique personalities.

Hello! My name is Rip, and if you look closely, you'll see not just my coat has varied hues.
My eyes are multicolored!
My unique condition, known as
ʜᴇᴛᴇʀᴏᴄʜʀᴏᴍɪᴀ ɪʀɪᴅɪꜱ
Allows me to have golden yellow eyes with pieces of blue in each one instead of one blue and one yellow. This condition happens in humans too!

"They are doing well. It’s like they felt like they were right at home. My kids can’t get enough of them. My middle child comes down often to greet them or just to read to them. My little one can’t get enough of them and often gives them commands. They’re very well behaved pups. We get many compliments on their behavior. They have their moments but I can’t really complain."

Quarantine and Homeschooling 4 out of our 5 kids has been quite the adjustment.
But Reigha has just been soaking up all the extra attention! Not to mention one of many distractions for little minds that are supposed to be doing homework.

Santa doesn't deliver these to our Doodles.

Many years ago I remember watching a Dirty Jobs episode when Mike Rowe went to a Tannery.. 😳 it's dirty business, and not something we want ending up in our Furbaby's bellys!

There are many Rawhide Free options available for your pups at Christmas and throughout the year.

Their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.
Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes.

They regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.

Please be safe with your dogs!

ATTENTION :
Our Family is going through the Covid waves. We had a good nearly 2 year run, but now we're hoping for a speedy recovery. We're a small, one family operation and pictures, phone calls, texts, emails, videos, and posts are all done primarily by me, Becka. But currently, I'm primary care giver for our 5 children, our chickens, dogs, and puppies while trying to allow myself some time to rest and heal. So please know response time will be slow but I will get to each person's questions and messages.
We do still have some amazing pups that would make a wonderful edition to the Holiday season without the hassle of a newborn pup.
They're WONDERFUL with children. If you know anyone with kiddos on the look please send them our way :)

Off the leash training is a good way to reinforce your pups recall and bond building and a greater awareness of their surroundings. Find a safe, calm space and do 5-10 minutes a day. If you don't have a space that's free of distractions, be sure to use high value rewards (fresh meat or their favorite toy)
⚠️ Always consider safety first. Near a busy road or popular park with other untrained dogs is not a suitable environment for a young learning pup. i.e. If your street is busy during the day, consider early morning or late evening training windows.

A common question and point of confusion for people...
TINY • MINI • MEDIUM • STANDARD

A mini bernedoodle is not going to be the same size as Miniature poodle.
45-50 lbs is absolutely "Miniature" compared to 80-100± lbs of a standard Bernedoodle.
Here's a good break down on sizes and I'd like to reiterate what the article says about breeding the size down in a manner that will cause a slew of health problems. If you're looking for a mini, please ask if they are CCDY & IVDD Clear, among other things.
