Tips for keeping your pets safe this Halloween:
-Keep candy and food out of reach and secure
-Make sure your pet has identification (tags or microchip)
-If you pet gets stressed out with all the loud noises you can try to keep them in a quiet room and play relaxing music
-Keep open flames out of reach (Jack o Lanterns or candles)
-If you are taking your pet out trick or treating reflective wear can help them be seen even in the dark

Have you found a baby bird? This baby wild conure was found and required medical assistance which we offer through our wildlife program. However, if you find a baby bird that is not injured the best option is to place the baby back in the nest. Parents will continue to feed their babies even after you have touched them. They will even continue to search for their babies 24-48 hours of absence. Birds only need to be rescued if they are: injured, cat caught, icy cold, naked, or orphaned.
