Bronwyn was chosen to be the flag bearer.
She received her KZN colours, approved by Olympic committee.
She did well in all her games-including poles figure 8 stake in the indoor arena.
She came fourth in the SANESA (schools) team competition and then in the South African Western Mounted Games (swanga) section due to her consistent riding she placed fourth Nationally in her level. She was in the top Nine nationally for most of her ten games.
At times the going was tough but made for great photography. Jam was in a different league and really upped his game as can be seen in the photo. Bronwyn did not fall or slip so we were very relieved and happy with her results.
Well done Bronwyn and Jam we as a club are super proud of your achievements 🏆🏆

When there are zero hills around you have to get creative with how you can bring in some hill work. Our table top cross country jump serves the purpose well 👍
BSC's Princess Saba is learning to carry herself up and down hills In balance before adding the extra pressure of carrying a rider as well. What started out as a mad rush up and down the hill is now nice and relaxed. Will definitely make carrying a rider far easier 💕

Bron & Jam are home safe and sound after their very successful first outing to Nationals where they placed 3rd overall in SANESA and 22nd overall in SAWMGA!🏅An impressive achievement! It has been lovely to see this partnership develop and thrive over the past months in preparation for this event. All the hard work, persistence and dedication has paid off in achieving the dream and we are incredibly proud to have them as part of the BSC family! ❤️ Well Done Bron for being the amazing horsewoman that you are, for never giving up on your dreams and for always putting your horse first! To your support team, family and Instructor- congrats on the amazing team effort❤️

This past weekend we had our one riders go to Lions River for a Western Mounted games qualifier.
As always she made us all so extremely proud on how she rode!!!
On the first day she rode 4 of her 5 items at a level 2 time meaning she got bumped up from level 1 to level 2!!!
Well done Bronwyn we are all so extremely proud of you!! Keep up that great work!!

I don't think we as a club can put in words how proud we are of Bronwyn and Jam this past weekend!!!
The hard work that you have been putting in showed in all your items at the how this weekend. You where calm, confident and did it in such style, WELL DONE!!
Coming 2nd in Sawmga and 1st in Sanesa!! and ending 6th overall out of 18 riders.
We are all so proud of you Bronwyn.

What is the best gift you can give your dad on Father's day?
Well in my opinion you should put him to work! Thank you for cutting down trees that were growing through our jumps today and helping paint some of our jumps for the clinic ❤

This past Sunday we opened our gates and hosted a fun training show! Thank you to each and every person who came out and supported our show- To the show mum's and dads who were towing horses and rushing about helping, to the riders and horses who inspire and encourage, to the instructors whose help and passion builds the foundations of our beautiful sport and to the people behind the scenes making it all possible! Thank you all! As always it was lovely to see so many passionate people enjoying their horses and encouraging their fellow rider! ❤️

Over the weekend two of our riders went with Zululand Pony Club to do a training camp Buffelsbosch Equestrian and Dolcoed Equestrian. What a weekend full of lessons, badges, learning and most importantly FUN!

Tomorrow is show day and all of us at BSC are excited to see you all there! Just some quick reminders:
*Dressage kicks off at 8:30am!
*Remember to bring along your own snacks, drinks and sunscreen!
*Water points will be available for horses, please don't forget to offer them regularily!
*Encourage others, support and have a great time!
*This is a training show aimed at building and encouraging in a safe and friendly environment- please feel free to ask for assistance at any point throughout the day! All requests will be accommodated as best as we can!
