Then today they hatched like popcorn.. 15 babies and waiting on 2 more to hatch.. the last one i am not to sure its any good.

So a few weeks ago i was hoarding eggs from my mealy grey/ porcelain pen. 18 eggs were viable.

This little character is “Hope” she had a very hard start to life with firstly burning her head multiple times on the electric hen, and losing her little friend to deformity and then getting a bad case of cocci which was touch n go a few times.. but she is a tough cookie and pulled thru no worries and is growing really fast now and loves being inside the house at nite.. spoilt much. 🥰 here she is spending some time out the back yesterday. 🩷

Had a great day out at the Golden West Waterfowl/ Bantam show in Toowoomba today.. my white frizzle girl “Marcie” took out Rare breed/club award and got herself up out the front.
And the others all did well too.
1st-White Langshan male “Mr Stix”
2nd-Mealy grey pekin hen AOC “Bronti”
2nd-Partridge frizzle Hen-“Roxy”
2nd-langshan Breeding Pair-“Rodger & Delta”
Great day catching up with poultry mates too.
Well done to my team today and we have one more show in 2 weeks time then into breeding season.

Had a great day again with my “Tilly girl winning *champion Light Standard Soft-Feather. 🏆&
* Champion Soft-Feather Bantam Light.🏆
This girl is bred has done me so awesomely proud.
“Queenie” won 2nd behind Tilly.
Mr Stix won 1st place.
“Fern” won 1st place
And “Roxy” won 2nd place.
Thanks to the Boonah Poultry Club for a fantastic well run stress free day.. 🤗

Took 9 birds to Toowoomba Club Show yesterday and had a great day.
Champion Exhibition Pairs with my Langshans-“Big bird & Delta”
Breed champion with white silkie- “Tilly”
2nd place white silkie-“Queenie”
Breed Champion partridge Frizzle-“Roxy”
2nd place Aoc Frizzle-“Fern”
1st place white landshan male-“Mr Stix”
1st place buff Pekin pullet- “Miss mini”
2nd place Aoc Pekin pullet-“Bronti”
I did miss taking pics of the pekin girls tho.

New boy “Buddy” has only been here a month and he has already proven to be a good breeding boy and look at these 2 bubbas… “Buddy” is like a great great grandson to my old boy “Taz” who is so old now even his hips are going on him. But anyways here is a bit of baby spam for something different.. 🐥🐥🥰

Our first show day and i Had a great day at the Rosewood Club Show..
“Tilly”(White Silky) won 1st/champ &Res Large softfeather. 🥇🏆🤗
“Queenie”- (white silky) 2nd place.
“Mr Stix”- (white Langshan) 1st/champ.
“Lyla”-(mealy grey Pekin) 1st/champ/champ.
“Big Bird & Yetti”-(black Langshans) 3rd-exhibition pairs.
“Fern”-(frizzle) 2nd Place.
Great to catch up with chook mates with a lovely relaxing day. 🥰🐥
