Meet Truffle (or as we call her Luna)! 💖
Truffle is as cute as her name sounds. She’s sweet, playful, hungry and clean (fun fact: dislikes stepping on her dirty p*e p*e pads). She brings so much joy to every morning and evening as we help her learn tricks of sit and no.
Truffle was found as a solo little pup so she enjoys company and is thrilled when everyone is in one room. She’s a little love bug with so much love to give, she rarely leaves my side. She’s very treat driven so training her to be p*e pad trained has been a breeze. She loves everyone she meets and wants everyone to be her friend. Her crate is her safe space and is part of our nightly routine.
Truffle is a beautiful mix of loyal, funny and active. Truffle aka Luna deserves to find her forever family! Plus you can’t say no to that face 💖

Indoor activities to escape the NYC heat wave include lots of cuddling, napping, and (in Gooey Louie’s case) doggy yoga.

🐾🐶 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED TO HELP PUDGE SUCCEED! 🐶🐾
I am in need of a little love and understanding, I know I can improve! 🐾💪
Can you work with me? If not, can you share me outside of NYC to help my anxiety.
🐕❤️ Due to unforeseen circumstances, my current foster family can no longer keep me, and I'm hoping to find a loving temporary home where I can wag my tail and snuggle up with some awesome humans. I love being inside , but when I go outside to potty in the busy city I get very nervous.
I'm a friendly and lovable pup, full of energy and cuddles! 🥰 and like my pitty friend there is nothing I love more than tummy tax. I am also house-trained and know some cool tricks! 🎾🏡
However, I have a bit of leash reactivity and get overly excited, which causes me to pull. 😬 I'm working on it, but I need someone who can be patient with me and help me overcome my anxiety if I can only find a temporary home in NYC.

Introducing Maroon ❤️
Maroon is truly a unicorn of a dog. She is calm, attectionate, and sweet as can be. She’s happiest when she’s spending her days cuddled up with her humans on the couch, giving kisses and melting your heart with her unique, expressive eyes. She matches your energy: if you’re calm, so is she; if you’re excited, so is she, and her tail wags her whole body. Maroon also loves to be outside, walking and exploring the streets. She learns something new about her neighborhood on every time and loves to say hi to humans and dogs that pass by - always curious and friendly and playful. Not a person walks by without telling Maroon how precious she is.
Meal time is one of Maroon’s favorite times of the day!
She licks her bowl clean. She has made enormous progress on her potty training in a short amount of time and is already nearly housebroken. She even prefers to go outside now (in a quiet spot!). Maroon is a fast learner in every respect, understanding quickly her boundaries at home. She sleeps through the night - jumping (literally) at the opportunity to snuggle up in bed if you let her, but perfectly content on the floor next to you, too.
Maroon is a 6 month old, 30 pound mixed breed. Her forever parents will be lucky to have her

The Swifties are settling in after a big day of traveling on Sunday. They are so happy to be safely in their foster homes and out of the shelter!!

There’s nothing cuter than a puppy who loves kids! 🥰 Listed as Y7 on our website- this adoptable pup was rescued from a shelter in Georgia, but has quickly adapted to city life. He’s playful, loves his toys, and gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs. He’s also very affectionate and loves giving kisses. Plus, he is not afraid of car rides or public transportation, making him a perfect companion for any adventure! ❤️ Age: 7-8 months ❤️ Weight: 10 lbs

Thank you so much to our fabulous foster community and volunteer team who helped us save 45 dogs from the shelter last night!! 🎉 All that these dogs wanted is to have somebody to love and now they do! They are finally safe and settling into loving foster homes in NYC and the tristate area, where they will stay until they are adopted. Best of all, we’ve freed up kennels in the shelter to allow them the space to rescue even more dogs!!
Thanks to our Waldo’s community who truly stepped up when we needed them, we were able to give 45 DOGS a freedom ride to NYC!!! These 45 angels are en route to the city right now and cannot wait to safely land in their foster homes tonight! Because of each and every foster who signed up, we were able to save these dogs from euthanasia and free up space in the shelter for more dogs to be saved. We want to extend a huge thank you to every volunteer who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this possible 💕
