How do you get a Yorkiepoo to stay black and not silver out? It is all about genetics! It is the dilute gene that makes a Yorkie turn silver! We are going to have Yorkies that do not have the dilute gene! Red poodle have black skin and they do not fade in color if they do not have the dilute gene… so we will get black black baby!
