That’s a wrap on the Country Kings and Queens litter. Our Merle (Trip) and Cash (Watson) headed off to bird country; one to MT and the other to MN. They’ll be blessed with a bounty of wild birds not far from the backyards, something we greatly envy! #wildbirds #wirehairedpointinggriffon #birddog #uplandhunting
I really focused on self-control with this litter, making all the pups come off the gates before opening doors and staying calm and quiet before feeding. Well after 8 weeks, here’s the result: minute #3 just listening to birds and watching cars, all while running free in the yard. I hope it pays dividends at their new homes. 
Had to dig for some birds this year but found them an hour or so away!
Mallard and Teal in the Potholes
Took all three dogs out to Central North Dakota to chase sharpies for a few days. Tough hunting this year. A lot of cover cut for winter feed and the birds were alert and wary all day long. The views and adventure did not disappoint though.
