As the tag in the 3rd photo indicates, this was considered a platter, however, at 9" square they would make great plates and I have

of them, total. I suspect these were given as gifts or bought for an event that never happened, as they still have their tags on (though price was removed.)

They're in MINT condition.

The platter looks unused, but there are a couple glaze pops (NOT chips) and one scratch (?) across leaves in the pattern. (See photos.) Perfect, otherwise.

Price: $95.

This is a never-used jewelry box designed by Anu Penttinen (Finland). This design, with the blown-glass top and pressed cork bottom is no longer created. Its original price was $125. though it looks as though it was marked on sale at $40. back in 2010. That said, this design is rare, no longer made, and new in the box - never used.

Iittala does still create boxes under the Vitriini series, but they are now all clunky, heavy glass. (You can find them on Amazon. They're smaller, all-glass and range in price from $60 - $100.) This is a more-sought-after sleek and modern design. GORGEOUS!

This piece was donated to Happy Tails Rescue, Owego and the proceeds will help us with a cat colony at Turner's Bridge (Owego.)

Three sizes:

Notes: The Kousas are in full bloom now, and stay a long time, followed by large red berries that the birds love. (You can make jelly from them yourself, as well.)

I have two babies that need homes. They're about a foot high. They tend to grow a couple feet a year, when they're happy.

I have them all over -- in full sun, in semi-shade, near sidewalks, under other trees ... they seem to do well. I wouldn't put them in a very-dry or very-wet environment. Standard garden conditions would be fine.

Hard case, but lightweight.

There is a protective plastic coating on it that is peeling from storage. Once that's off, it will be like new.

Mid-century modern piece of wall art. Large, 42" x 20". Knowing the donor, I would say it really DOES date to the 60s time frame and is not a reproduction. It is marked (see photo 2). I recently marked it down from $20. to $10. to move it along. It's a great vintage piece!

I am Nancy from Maddies Meadows and I recently got a call about this sweet cat that I now call Boss. He had a very badly damaged tail which had no fur on most of it. The healthier end of the tail was filled with maggots. By the time I went to pick Boss up the fur less part of the tail had fallen...

We were inundated this year with the most beautiful Christmas donations ... the store is full and I keep stuffing more in there daily. We have Christmas trees - all sizes. There is a 5' indoor/outdoor tree (pictured) for $25. (It needs a good stand and the "accoutrement" at the top can be removed.) Plus, tons of decorations and gift-worthy items still in their boxes!
