We all know it's hot outside. The dogs and cats at FOHA need to stay cool as the temps rise and we are in desperate need for essential facility repairs. Among these essentials is a much-needed new roof and AC unit for our largest kennel building, which houses up to 30 dogs at a time. Buttercup's 7 pups are learning to be hound dogs. At 5 days old they weighed around 1.5lbs - those are some big pups. They are quickly growing, now weighing over 5 pounds. The 36 kittens and their 3 mama cats are thriving, but we still need supplies to keep them happy and healthy! Our biggest need is canned wet food and litter. Each kitten eats ½ to 1 can daily - that’s a lot of food! 😺
You can also help cover their medical bills. Each kitten and their mamas will cost FOHA about $300 for vaccines, microchips, and spay/neuter surgeries - totaling over $10,000!
